Taiwanese player Yu Tang Wang is elevating his status within the competitive poker community in Asia, recently claiming back-to-back wins in three series titles. Wang’s maiden Asian Poker Tour title victory occurred during the 2024 APT Taipei Limit Triple Draw 2-7, earning NTD 53,667 (USD 1,700). Wang immediately followed up his success in the 9 Game and Turbo NL Single Draw Mix, earning NTD 111,155 (USD 3,522) and NTD 71,206 (USD 2,256) respectively.

Wang is now among the prestigious 13 players, including South Korea’s Soo Jo Kim and the UK’s Sam Razavi, who have boasted triple series title wins.

Other notable wins in Wang’s poker history include the Hong Kong Players Poker Association (HKPPA) Premier League Main Event, winning NTD 400,900 (USD 12,418, his best live cash) and High Roller 8-Max event at the 15th Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT) in February 2024, winning NTD 252,600 (USD 8,051).

Wang’s recent series of wins have significantly increased his live earnings bankroll to a healthy USD 88,000.
