As the WPT Cambodia 2026 festival at NagaWorld Integrated Resort reached its nineteenth day, the excitement moved into a fever pitch with the Championship Event narrowing to its final table and the crowning of a new High Roller champion.
WPT Cambodia Championship: Chengcai Pan Leads Final Six
The Grand Ballroom at NagaWorld became the focus of the tournament world as Day 5 of the $3,500 Championship Event unfolded. From an initial field of 425 entries, only 14 players returned to chase their share of the $1,500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
By the end of play, just six finalists remained, each securing at least $63,000. China’s Chengcai Pan holds the narrowest of leads with 5,075,000 chips (68 BB), closely trailed by Malaysia’s Pang Kok “Barry” Yong with 4,925,000 chips (66 BB). Yong is looking to improve on his recent third-place finish in the WPT Prime Championship earlier in the festival.

Linh Tran Victorious in $5K High Roller

The $5K High Roller concluded its two-day run with Vietnam’s Linh Tran emerging as the champion. The event surpassed its guarantee, attracting 69 entries and generating a $314,571 prize pool.
Tran overcame a star-studded final table that included chip leader Michel Molenaar and Singapore’s Ting Hao Lian. After Tran executed a dramatic double knockout to remove Molenaar and Ngoc Anh Cao, he entered heads-up play against Lian. Despite starting with a 2-to-1 disadvantage, Tran battled back to secure the title and the $91,226 top prize.

The side event action remained intense as the festival moved through its final stages. In Event #67: Superstack Classic, it was Czech Republic’s Rama Prema who claimed the top spot, navigating a 33-entry field to secure the $8,297 first-place prize. Prema, an experienced player on the European circuit with over $128,000 in live earnings, added another victory to his 2026 campaign following a deep run at EPT Prague just two months prior.
