WPT Cambodia Championship: Chengcai Pan Leads Final Six

The Grand Ballroom at NagaWorld became the focus of the tournament world as Day 5 of the $3,500 Championship Event unfolded. From an initial field of 425 entries, only 14 players returned to chase their share of the $1,500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

By the end of play, just six finalists remained, each securing at least $63,000. China’s Chengcai Pan holds the narrowest of leads with 5,075,000 chips (68 BB), closely trailed by Malaysia’s Pang Kok “Barry” Yong with 4,925,000 chips (66 BB). Yong is looking to improve on his recent third-place finish in the WPT Prime Championship earlier in the festival.
