The Billionaire Club Challenge with a VND 4 Billion (~USD 157,000) guaranteed prize pool saw a total of 61 entries fork over the VND 250,000,000 (~USD 9,800) buy-in to generate a prize pool of VND 13,474,900,000 (~USD 530,000).

That field played down to the final table of 9 players, who will be competing for the championship title, trophy and the winner’s payout of VND 4,260,000,000 (~USD 167,000).

It took twenty (20) 40-minute levels to build the final table. The bubble burst on the 13th hour when John Joseph Parish busted at the hands of David Erquiaga. Parish pushed his last 15,000 chips on a board that showed a two pair of sixes and threes. Parish had a King as a kicker when he played the board, but Erquiaga had an ace. The river also threw an ace to add emphasis to the bubble bursting.

All 9 final table players are the only ones who make it to the payout circle with the minimum cash at VND 426,000,000 (~USD 16,700). At the helm is China’s Jinlong Hu, considerably the hottest running player this year.
