Triton One 2026 Main Event Day 2 saw the field quickly shrink as players returned to LES A Casino , with the money bubble looming. A total of 1,230 entries across three starting flights built a $8,945,790 prize pool, with 240 players advancing to Day 2 and 199 players guaranteed a payout.

The turnout surpassed the inaugural Triton ONE Main Event 2025 , which attracted 1,046 entries and generated a $7,607,558 prize pool. In that event, Joshua Gebissa made history as the first-ever Triton ONE champion, claiming $975,225 after a heads-up deal against Punnat Punsri , who walked away with $1,205,775.

This year’s edition raised the stakes even higher. The $8,000 buy-in Main Event will award a massive $1,585,000 to the eventual champion.

Aliaksandr Shylko’s Aces Cracked On Bubble

The money bubble arrived quickly. Just one hour into Day 2, the field reached 200 players, leaving one elimination away from the money.

The unfortunate bubble was Aliaksandr Shylko , who moved all-in for four big blinds with pocket aces against Shi Xiaochun, holding eight-six of clubs. In a cruel twist, Xiaochun spiked two pair on the turn, cracking the aces and eliminating the Belarusian pro one spot shy of the money in a brutal manner.

After 10 levels of play, only 24 players remained in contention, led by Shota Nakanishi of Japan with a commanding 53,725,000 chips (179 big blinds).

Nakanishi is no stranger to big stages, already holding a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, and he built his massive stack through aggressive play and multiple eliminations throughout the day. Among the players he sent to the rail were Yoda Lin , Chunnuan Xu , and Dan Dvoress .

Remarkably, this marks Nakanishi’s first cash in a Triton event, and it has already turned into a deep run.
