Dicky Tsang Wins The Dragon Awakening; Liu Claims Dragon’s Gate High Roller Title on Day 3 of RDPT Plus Jeju Summer 2026
Day 3 of the Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT) Plus Jeju Summer 2026 festival at the LES A Casino was highlighted by the conclusion of the series’ first featured event and an elite field wrapping up in the high roller arena. Dicky Siu Hang Tsang converted his chip lead into an outright victory in The Dragon Awakening , while Wenchao Liu locked up a career-best score in the festival’s opening high roller event.
Tsang Wins The Dragon Awakening

The first featured event of the festival, The Dragon Awakening , reached a swift and decisive conclusion. Dicky Siu Hang Tsang translated his Day 2 chip leadership into an outright victory to secure the RDPT Champions Jacket, the newly designed RDPT trophy, and the top prize of KRW 70,110,000 (~USD 46,315). Despite the forced cancellation of Flight A earlier in the series, the event drew a total of 240 entries, building a total prize pool of KRW 311,040,000 (~USD 205,490).
Day 2 moved at a rapid pace, wrapping up in just seven hours from the restart of the remaining 37 players. The final table of nine was set after four hours of play. Pham Bao was eliminated on the final table bubble in tenth place when his queen-jack could not catch up to Rong Gu’s pocket tens. Tianwei Zhang entered the final table with the chip lead, with Tsang lurking closely behind in second position.

The action at the final table was immediate. On the very first hand, Chenyi Xu moved all-in with ace-ten of clubs but ran straight into Gu’s pocket queens, and Gu flopped a set to send Xu packing in ninth place. Shortly after, Jingling Chen committed her chips with ace-ten against Hao Zhu’s ace-three, but Zhu spiked a three on the flop to hit his three-outer and eliminate Chen in eighth place.

Sishu Peng fell next in seventh place when his ace-six failed to find help against Chao Zheng’s pocket jacks, with Zheng even improving to a full house by the river. Zheng, the last woman standing in the field, lost a big pot before getting her final chips in with pocket fives, stepping right onto Zhang’s pocket queens to end her run in sixth place when no five appeared on the board.
After a quiet start to the final table, Tsang turned up the pressure and carried the momentum the rest of the way. Gu attempted a blind steal by shoving with jack-ten, but Tsang picked him off with ace-eight, and the ace-high held to send Gu to the rail in fifth place. Shortly after, Zhu risked his tournament life with ace-nine against Tsang’s pocket fours. Although Zhu paired his ace on the flop, Tsang caught a runner-runner straight to score another knockout, sending Zhu out in fourth place.

Three-handed play began with Tsang holding over 50 percent of the total chips in play. Zhang moved all-in with queen-six, and Tsang reshoved to isolate with ace-four. The board ran out clean, and Tsang’s ace-high eliminated the start-of-table chip leader in third place.

Tsang entered the heads-up battle holding a commanding 3-to-1 chip lead over Boyang Bai. The match ended quickly when Bai got his chips in with ace-nine, only to find himself heavily dominated by Tsang’s ace-king. The ten-high board offered no help to Bai, locking up the runner-up position and crowning Dicky Siu Hang Tsang as the champion of The Dragon Awakening.

Liu Takes High Roller Title

The first high roller of the schedule, the Dragon’s Gate High Roller , drew 69 elite entries to generate a total prize pool of KRW 298,080,000 (~USD 198,250). Wenchao Liu emerged victorious to claim the top prize of KRW 87,030,000 (~USD 58,415), marking his largest lifetime live cash. The victory surpasses his previous best score of USD 28,000, which also came at the RDPT with a fifth-place finish in the Super High Roller field.

In the final stages, Liu denied Weiwei Huang a second trophy this series. Huang, who previously took down Event #6 NLH Super Hyper Turbo on the opening day, had to settle for a runner-up finish as Liu locked up the high roller title.

Zhu Wins Big O Trophy

Side event action saw a familiar face return to the winner’s circle in Event #16 Big O (5 Card PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better) . Jingxuan Zhu defeated a field of 22 entries to take home the title and a KRW 5,901,000 (~USD 3,925) prize. While a relatively minor cash for a player with more than USD 1.3 million in total live earnings, the victory earned Zhu another beautiful RDPT trophy for his career record.

Big Turnout for Baby Dragon Plus

The first two flights of the Baby Dragon Plus, featuring a KRW 2,200,000 (~USD 1,450) buy-in, gathered a total of 190 entries. Day 1A saw 126 entries take the felt, with 19 players qualifying for Day 2 and securing a min-cash. Zhi Ye finished the flight far ahead of the pack with a massive 928,000 chips, followed by Jun Liu with 587,000.

Day 1B brought in another 64 entries, with 10 players punching their ticket to the next stage, led by Shunqing Peng with 681,000 chips.
The final two qualifying opportunities play out today with Day 1C kicking off at 12:00 PM noon, followed by the Day 1D Turbo flight at 7:00 PM. All surviving players will return tomorrow to play out Day 2.
Prestige High Roller Begins
With the Dragon’s Gate High Roller concluding, the Red Dragon Prestige High Roller opens up its registration lanes starting at 3:00 PM. The tournament features a buy-in of KRW 8,000,000 (~USD 5,285) and utilizes the same format as the previous high roller event.
Registration will remain open throughout the day and stays available until the conclusion of the first two levels of Day 2, where the field will play down to a champion.
