Quads Poker Championship Opens with Massive Fields and Early Champions
The inaugural Quads Poker Championship 2026 is currently running at Quads Poker Club Hanoi . From June 17 to June 29, 2026, this 13-day festival stands as one of the biggest poker events in Vietnam this year, featuring an overall guarantee of VND 80 billion (~USD 3.03 million). With one week left of tournament action in the capital, the series has already broken records and pulled in huge crowds to the brand-new venue.
Huy Hoang Nguyen Wins Massive Kickoff Event

The series started strong with the VND 6 Billion (~USD 228,000) guaranteed Kickoff Event , which drew a massive crowd to the tournament floor. The tournament pulled in a staggering 1,622 entries at a VND 7,700,000 (~USD 290) buy-in, completely obliterating the initial guarantee to build a final prize pool of VND 11,013,380,000 (~USD 417,960).
Outlasting a field of this scale is a rare feat, but local player Huy Hoang Nguyen made it look easy as he kept his incredible hot streak alive. Fresh off his victory just last week at the RPT Championship III Main Event , Nguyen navigated the sea of players yet again to take home the coveted trophy and the massive VND 1,687,780,000 (~USD 64,050) top prize.
What makes this victory truly historic is the sheer volume of opponents he had to conquer back-to-back. In the span of just one single week, Nguyen took down two separate tournaments that each featured fields of more than a thousand players, cementing an unforgettable run in the local poker scene.

Wang Chen Wins Tense Final Match

The High Roller Ultra Stack brought out a very tough crowd. With an entry fee of VND 44,000,000 (~USD 1,675), the tournament saw 98 entries join the action. This big turnout pushed the final prize pool to VND 3,802,400,000 (~USD 144,300), easily beating the original guarantee.
China’s Wang Chen played incredibly well at the final table to secure the win. Chen took home the top prize of VND 1,024,000,000 (~USD 38,860) after winning a close heads-up match against Vietnam’s Van Sang Nguyen . For his second-place finish, Nguyen earned a strong prize of VND 675,000,000 (~USD 25,615).

Hui Liu Conquers 648-Entry Field

One of the most popular events of the opening week was the VND 9,900,000 (~USD 375) Quads Signature , which attracted 648 entries and generated a prize pool of VND 5,657,040,000 (~USD 214,685). The strong turnout made it one of the largest side events of the festival, with 92 players ultimately earning a share of the prize money.
After navigating through the sizable field, China’s Hui Liu emerged victorious to claim the title and the VND 1,039,040,000 (~USD 39,430) first-place prize. Liu outlasted hundreds of competitors over the course of the event, turning a modest buy-in into one of the biggest scores awarded during the series’ opening week.
His win adds another notable result to the growing list of international champions at the inaugural Quads Poker Championship, which has already attracted players from across Asia and beyond.

Anh Tuan Trinh Claims Super High Roller Prestige

The biggest buy-in tournament of the opening week took place in the Super High Roller Prestige . It cost VND 109,000,000 (~USD 4,145) to enter, and 52 elite players faced off to create a total prize pool of VND 5,044,000,000 (~USD 191,420).
The end of the tournament came down to an exciting battle between two local Vietnamese players. Anh Tuan Trinh came out on top, taking home the trophy and the first-place reward of VND 1,668,000,000 (~USD 63,300). Thanh Tung Nguyen also had a fantastic run, finishing in second place for a payout of VND 1,089,500,000 (~USD 41,345).

Quads Poker Championship 2026 Main Event Flights Heat Up

The flagship VND 20 Billion (~USD 760,000) guaranteed QPC 2026 Main Event is now underway with a buy-in of VND 27,500,000 (~USD 1,040). Early flights brought in strong numbers, as Day 1A saw 165 entries with 64 players bagging chips, while Day 1B added 139 entries, leaving 61 players for Day 2. Day 1C and Day 1D are running on the floor today.
All Day 1 flights play through exactly 10 levels and stop before hitting the money. Surviving players return for Day 2, where late registration stays open for one final level before closing at the start of Level 12.
Early Player of the Series Leaderboard Standings

With so many massive fields already completed, the Player of the Series race has quickly become one of the festival’s most exciting storylines. Anh Tuan Trinh and Khoi Nguyen are currently tied atop the leaderboard with 302 points each, setting up a thrilling battle for the title as the series enters its final week.
The eventual Player of the Series champion will receive a package to the Red Dragon Poker Tour Plus (RDPT+) in Jeju, South Korea , which includes a KRW 4,000,000 Main Event seat, round-trip airfare, and a five-night hotel stay.
