Alan Pham Captures Quads Poker Championship 2026 Main Event Title; Kiseok Kang Wins Quads Championship
The action has officially wrapped up at Vietnam’s brand-new poker hotspot, the Quads Poker Club Hanoi , marking a successful debut for the Quads Poker Championship 2026 .
The festival’s crown jewel, the VND 20 Billion guaranteed Main Event , drew a crowd of 764 entries across its starting flights. When the dust settled after a fast-paced final day, it was Australia’s Alan Pham who stood on top, turning a stellar performance into another major trophy for his resume.
Alan Pham Stops Mingcong Chen Heads-Up to Claim Main Event Glory

Alan Pham outlasted the field to take home the lion’s share of the prize pool, banking VND 3,430,000,000 (~USD 130,170) after defeating China’s Mingcong Chen in a brief but tense heads-up battle.
Pham’s victory in Hanoi continues an incredible run of form over the past year. Back in September 2025, Pham secured a career-best score on home soil, taking down the AUD 5,500 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship at WPT Australia in Sydney for AUD 558,211 (~USD 368,417). With this latest triumph in Vietnam, Pham’s lifetime live tournament earnings are now knocking on the door of the USD 1.6 million mark.

Runner-up Chen also added another strong result to his spectacular 2026 campaign. Chen made headlines just last March when he conquered a field in Jeju to win the Triton NLH 8-Handed USD 30,000 event for a massive USD 1,143,000. While he missed out on the trophy this time, his deep run cements his status as one of the region’s toughest competitors right now.

Along with the hefty cash prize and the trophy, Pham also received a complete package to the upcoming Red Dragon Poker Tour Plus (RDPT+) in Jeju, South Korea . The added prize package includes a KRW 4,000,000 Main Event seat, round-trip airfare, and a five-night hotel stay.

Kiseok Kang Scores Breakthrough Victory in the Quads Championship

Parallel to the Main Event action, the VND 44,000,000 (~USD 1,670) buy-in Quads Championship crushed its initial guarantees. The tournament drew 381 entries, easily blowing past the VND 12 Billion benchmark to generate a final VND 15,520,000,000 (~USD 588,985) prize pool.

South Korea’s Kiseok Kang claimed the title after outperforming local favorite Khoi Nguyen in the final stages. The victory marks a true career milestone for Kang, as the VND 3,200,000,000 (~USD 121,440) first-place prize is more than his entire recorded lifetime live earnings combined, making it a definitive breakthrough performance on the Asian circuit.

Series by the Numbers
The entire series drew a massive field of 9,812 total entries, building a colossal final prize pool of VND 128,166,390,000 (~USD 4,862,275) across all events.
A total of 60 trophies were awarded during the festival, with host country Vietnam dominating the field, followed closely by a strong showing from China and South Korea:
| Country | Trophies Won |
|---|---|
| Vietnam | 33 |
| China | 14 |
| South Korea | 6 |
| Malaysia | 2 |
| Australia | 1 |
| India | 1 |
| Lithuania | 1 |
| Singapore | 1 |
| Thailand | 1 |
Khoi Nguyen Claims Player of the Series

Local star Khoi Nguyen completely ran away with the Player of the Series honors. Even though he only lifted a single trophy, taking down the Quads Kickstarter , his ridiculous consistency across the rest of the schedule saw him lock up an unmatched 503 points, leaving the rest of the field in the dust.
Nguyen made his four cashes count with deep runs every single time, backing up his opening win with a 4th-place finish in the Kick Off event , a runner-up finish in the Quads Championship , and a deep 10th-place run in the Main Event .
Alongside Main Event frontrunners Alan Pham and Mingcong Chen, Nguyen also earned a complete prize package to the upcoming Red Dragon Poker Tour Plus (RDPT+) in Jeju, South Korea, which includes a KRW 4,000,000 Main Event seat, round-trip airfare, and a five-night hotel stay.
With the successful conclusion of these flagship events, Quads Poker Club Hanoi has firmly put itself on the map as a premier destination for tournament poker in Southeast Asia.

Following this triumphant debut, organizers have already announced the next stop: the Quads Poker Championship Autumn, scheduled to run from August 9 to 19, 2026 at the same venue.
