Las Vegas, NV (Sept. 8, 2025) – The World Poker Tour® and Wynn Las Vegas have unveiled the full schedule for the highly anticipated 2025 WPT® World Championship running December 2 to 22. The festival features 78 tournaments and satellites packed into three weeks, offering a significant increase in variety and buy-in levels from previous years – with something for each player at one of poker’s premier destinations: Wynn Las Vegas.

The festival will feature buy-ins ranging from $600 up to $25,800 high rollers, ensuring players at all levels find great value without leaving the Wynn. Across the schedule, players will find more than two dozen satellites, starting at $200, and providing players an opportunity to earn a seat to some of the biggest events of the year.

New Additions to the 2025 WPT World Championship Festival

  • $1,600 PLO Mystery Bounty (Dec. 7 to 8)
  • $1,600 NLH $1 Million GTD (Dec. 12 to 13) (Featuring a single starting day)
  • $1,100 NLH $2 Million GTD (Dec. 16 to 19)

Almost a Dozen PLO and 5-Card PLO Tournaments

  • Expanded Mixed Games Lineup:
    Including multiple HORSE, TORSE, and Omaha 8 events, in addition to Big O, OE, Mixed Triple Draw, and 2-7 Mixed Limits.

Large Prize Pool NLH Events

  • $800 buy-in, $1 Million GTD Opening Event (Dec. 2 to 6)
  • $1,600 buy-in, $1 Million GTD (Dec. 5 to 7)
  • $1,600 buy-in, $1 Million GTD (Dec. 20 to 22)
  • $3,000 buy-in, $3 Million GTD (Dec. 18 to 20)

High Roller Action

  • $25,800 buy-in NLH (Dec. 17 to 18)
  • $25,800 buy-in NLH (Dec. 18 to 19)

In addition to the newly added events, several fan favorite tournaments will make their return to the festival schedule. The Ladies Championship is set for Dec. 13 to 14., featuring a $1,100 buy-in and guaranteed prize pool of $250,000. The schedule also includes dedicated Seniors events, beginning with the $1,100 Seniors Championship running Dec. 18 to 20, followed by the Seniors High Roller, a $10,000 buy-in event taking place Dec. 20 to 22.

The festival schedule is headlined by its two marquee events. The first is the WPT World Championship – a $10,400 buy-in event running Dec. 13 to19 with a delayed televised final table occurring Dec. 21. The second is the $5 million guaranteed WPT Prime Championship, which features a $1,100 buy-in from Dec. 7 to 12 that also has a delayed televised final table on Dec. 20.

Adding to the excitement of the festival, WPT will host a Players Party on Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. at Odyssey Noir just across Area 15 in Las Vegas. Open exclusively to participants of the WPT Prime Championship, Ladies Championship, and WPT World Championship events, the celebration will feature music, entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere for players to enjoy. Players must present their official buy-in receipt to be granted entry.
