Event recap

As with all the previous ring events, a long list of noteworthy players attended with many firing multiple bullets. Niklas Astedt and Natural8 Team Hot member Pete Chen both fired seven each that despite cashing, they still ended up way in the red. At the final table, five players were in for more than one buy in including eventual champion “davidchien88″ who re-entered three times. The final table was formed at the fall of India’s Skinny Pete who was denied a chance at a second final table. As for Brazil’s Eder “BlueMoon” Campana and “davidchien88”, both were on their second final table visit.

WSOP Super Circuit Online Series RING #16: $840 Bounty Hunters Championship final table

Kicking off the action, Italy’s Enrico Camosci held command and Canada’s Robert Haigh was ranked eighth with the largest bounty on his head. First to go was Lebanon’s Rayan “InhalemyQuQ” Chamas with BlueMoon’s QhJh full house outdrawing AcKd. Twenty minutes later, Poland’s Jakub “Janusz1957PL” Machalak booted Austria’s Titus Catana with pocket nines dominating pocket sevens, then davidchien88 scored a huge double up that sent Haigh down to less than one bb. Haigh was eliminated on the next hand.

The next 45 minutes saw the continued rise of davidchien88 who took a commanding lead after catching a lucky set with 10h10c to boot Brazil’s Luiz “Isildinho1” Neri who had AcAh. This gave davidchien88 nearly half the chips at his disposal. Next showdown awarded short stacked Janusz1957PL a double up off Camosci which he then used to rail BlueMoon in 5th place. Overwhelming chip leader davidchien88 finished off Uzbekistan’s “Pacailo” (4th) and Camosci (3rd) to kick off the heads-up round. davidchien88 kept his lead intact throughout. The final hand was AcJd straight beating Qc10s two pair on a board Qd10dKcJhJc.
