Three Titles, One Day: Day 9 at the 2025 APT Championship

Super High Roller Championship

The Super High Roller Championship kept its momentum rolling, closing at 81 entries to set a new APT record for both the largest USD 25K field and the richest non-Main Event prize pool in tour history at TWD 59.5M (~USD 1.9M). The event drew a star-studded lineup, with high-stakes regulars and APT veterans jostling for one of the most coveted trophies of the festival.
Roman Hrabec bagged the overnight lead with 6.865M, followed by Alexander Wice and Axel Hallay. Bracelet winner Danny Tang also returns with a solid stack, while Manuel Fritz comes in short on Sunday, meaning every hand will count. Big names including Erik Seidel , Joseph Cheong , Michael Addamo , and Dominik Nitsche all fell short of the money, while Biao Ding , Alex Lynskey , Dylan Linde , and Lester Edoc cashed but couldn’t make the final table, leaving the last six poised for a dramatic showdown.

His main rival, Alex Tchong , fought back repeatedly, doubling up five times to stay alive. Lin remained composed, steadily applying pressure until he finally secured the win. The local grinder claimed his first APT title, taking home the Pewter Lion trophy and a career-best TWD 1,146,000 (~USD 36,700).

APT Women’s Championship – Sponsored by LIPS

Rosalie Petit claimed her second women’s title of the festival in a landmark edition of the APT Women’s Championship. The 119-entry event becomes the largest USD 1K women’s tournament in Asian poker history and one of the biggest globally outside Las Vegas.
Petit outlasted Taiwan’s Yu Lun Huang in an extended duel that paused for an ICM deal. With TWD 29,360 and the trophy left to play for, Petit closed it out with top set to earn TWD 760,060. Huang and Thailand’s Yotaka Phutiya both earned career-best scores.
Day 9 delivered three champions, a record-breaking Super High Roller final table lineup, and another strong turnout across the board. With the Main Event just days away, the energy inside the Red Space venue continues to climb.
