WPT Cambodia Championship ($3,500)

After a flop of J♣ T♥ 7♥ , action checks to WPT Champions Club member Dominik Nitsche, who bets 80,000 from the button. Renat Bohdanov calls from the big blind, and Martin Stausholm check-raises from the hijack to 235,000. Nitsche calls, and Bohdanov thinks for a while before he calls all in for 175,000.

The turn card is the A♣ , Stausholm checks, and Nitsche uses a Time Chip to tank for a while before he bets 300,000 into a side pot of 120,000. Stausholm uses a Time Chip to tank for about a minute before he folds. Nitsche takes the side pot.

For the main pot, Bohdanov turns over K♣ 9♥ for a double-gutshot straight draw, and he needs to improve to stay alive against Nitsche's K♥ J♠ (pair of jacks, gutshot straight draw).

The river card is the 6♠ , and Nitsche wins the pot with his pair of jacks to eliminate Bohdanov in 32nd place.

Peteris Enders raises to 45,000 in the small blind and Renat Bohdanov calls from the big blind for them to get it in after the A♣ 8♣ 6♣ flop. Bohdanov has T♣ 2♣ for the flopped straight and needs to dodge aces and sixes, as Enders holds A♠ 6♠. The J♠ and J♥ on turn and river pair the board, but don't threaten Bohdanov.

Dominik Nitsche then opens to 40,000 and Bohdanov three-bets to 90,000 on the button, Nitsche calls. On a flop of Q♦ 6♠ 2♦ , Nitsche check-raises from 25,00o to 75,000 and Bohdanov calls. Nitsche leads the 3♥ turn for 50,000, Bohdanov calls.

Nitsche jams the Q♠ river for an effective 245,000 and that forces out his opponent.

Looking down at A♦ K♦, Dominik Nitsche opens for 40,000, Peteris Enders makes the call, then button Renat Bohdanov has A♠ Q♣ and drives it to 160,000. After the blinds quickly fold, Nitsche four-bets 320,000, Enders steps off as Bohdanov pushes. Nitsche snap-calls with less behind.

Nitsche is ahead, and the board further ensures the win as it runs 9♦ 5♦ 7♠ T♥ 3♦ .

With the final board showing Q♥ 9♦ 3♣ 3♦ 8♣ on the river, Renat Bohdanov bets 115,000 from the big blind, and Martin Stausholm moves all in from UTG+1 for 579,000.

Bohdanov uses three Time Chips to tank for a while before he folds, and Stausholm takes the pot.

In a limped battle of the blinds, Aurimas Stanevicius leads the J♥ T♦ 5♥ flop for 15,000 and Ngoc Ha Nguyen calls in the big blind. The Lithuanian bets the 7♦ turn for 70,000 and Nguyen folds.

One hand later, Renat Bohdanov opens to 30,000 with Stanevicius on the button and Dominik Nitsche in the big blind calling. The Q♦ 8♥ 5♦ flop is checked to Stanevicius and he bets 37,000 to win the next pot.

Following a raise of 30,000 from under the gun Ngoc Ha Nguyen, hijack player Renat Bohdanov three-bets 85,000, then on the button Aditya Agarwal makes it 150,000. This is enough to get Nguyen to fold while Bohdanov calls.

At the flop K♦ J♦ 7♣ , Agarwal continues for 105,000, Bohdanov calls, then they keep it safe and check down the rest of the board 2♠ 4♠ .

Bohdanov flips open A♥ Q♥ , Agarwal has T♦ T♣ to drag in the pot.

A scan of the field during the break turned up nine players with at least 1.3 million in chips, creating an unofficial leaderboard:

From middle position, Peteris Enders opens a huge 71,000 and gets a call from Renat Bohdanov. They proceed to check down the board J♥ K♣ K♦ 6♠ Q♦. Bohdanov shows A♥ Q♥ , Enders claims the pot with A♠ A♦ .

Aurimas Stanevicius squeezes to 137,000 preflop with 35,000 behind and Renat Bohdanov then moves all-in. On the pay jump bubble, Stanevicius uses all of his new time bank extensions before he calls all-in with the A♣ T♣.

Bohdanov is ahead with 7♣ 7♠ but the over cards strike twice on the T♥ 9♠ 6♥ 2♥ T♦ runout.

After five 90-minute levels, Day 2 of the WPT Cambodia Championship comes to an end with about 72 players remaining, and the big stack belongs to Daniel Charlton, who bagged 1,383,000 (138 big blinds). He's followed by WPT Champions Club member Dominik Nitsche with 1,303,000 (130 big blinds).

In the fourth hand of hand-for-hand play, Renat Bohdanov opens and Raffaele Sorrentino three-bets to 48,000 two seats over. Bohdanov then jams for 406,000 and Sorrentino snap-calls. They have to wait until all other tables are completed before the showdown proceeds.

The fifty big blind steal finds a fortunate ending as the J♥ 9♣ 3♠ 9♠ 2♣ board improves Bohdanov to trips for the double.

In a previous hand, Neng Zhao faces a raise to 12,000 and a call. He jams for244,000 out of the small blind and forces folds all around.

Renat Bohdanov then opens to 12,000 and Raffaele Sorrentino three-bets to36,000 two seats over for Bohdanov to call. The K♦ 9♥ 2♥ flop is checked to Sorrentino and he bets 30,000 for Bohdanov to call.

Bohdanov check-calls for another 85,000 on the 4♠ turn and checks the 6♣ river with 103,000 behind. Sorrentino lets his action clock run down to zero before he moves all-in and Bohdanov snap-calls.

Sorrentino flips over K♣ J♥ for top pair but Bohdanov doubles with the 9♣ 9♦ .

Before their table breaks, Marc Joseph tangles with Sho Homma and they create a pot of nearly 150,000 to the 5♣ 4♥ 2♣ 8♥ 9♥ river. Homma checks and Joseph bets 100,000 with only a few chips behind. The snap fold follows and they head different ways soon after.

With the board showing J♣ 5♦ 2♠ 2♦ on the turn, Renat Bohdanov bets 8,500 from the small blind, Shai Arbel moves all in from UTG+1 for 31,000, and Bohdanov goes into the tank.

Bohdanov is in the tank for a couple of minutes before somebody calls for a clock, and shortly after that, Bohdanov calls with T♥ T♦ .

But Arbel turns over J♦ 9♦ for a pair of jacks, and needs it to hold to stay alive.

The river card is the Q♥ , and Arbel wins the pot with his pair of jacks to double up in chips.

Rui Bouquet raises to 3,000 on the button and table short stack Kaifan Wang defends the big blind with only 9,000 behind. On the A♠ 8♦ 7♠ flop, Wang checks and Bouquet bets 5,000. The reluctant shove follows and Bouquet calls with the K♦ 7♥ .

Wang is ahead with K♥ 8♥ and has nothing to fear on the 3♥ T♠ runout.

Kaifan Wang is all-in for the last 3,900 and Renat Bohdanov calls on the button, as does Pablo Beltran de Heredia in the big blind. They check to the K♣ 3♣ 2♦ A♦ 3♦ river. Prior to any showdown, an excited Wang already tries to grab the pot and gets a slap on the fingers by the dealers.

Wang then shows 5♥ 4♥ for the wheel, which beats Bohdanov's 9♠ 7♠ and the K♦ Q♠ of Beltran de Heredia.

With the final board showing J♣ 8♠ 3♠ Q♦ 7♠ on the river and about 18K in the pot, Renat Bohdanov bets 12,400 from the small blind, and the UTG+1 player moves all in for 48,200.

Bohdanov tanks for a while before he calls, and the UTG+1 player shows A♣ T♥ for an ace-high bluff. Bohdanov turns over J♥ 8♥ to win the pot with two pair, jacks and eights, to eliminate his opponent.
