Yoon Kang raises from under the gun, John "Bert" Perry calls, as does Martin Stausholm on the button. Table short stack Jiaxian Pan defends the big blind and they head four ways to the 8♣ 7♥ 2♣ flop. Only Pan check-calls for 60,000 when Stausholm bets.

They check the J♦ turn and Pan jams the river for 200,000 to earn an instant fold from Stausholm.

After a flop of 6♥ 6♦ 4♠ , Daniel Charlton checks from the big blind, Yukako Hiroi bets 55,000 from under the gun, and Charlton check-raises to 175,000. Hiroi calls.

The turn card trips the board with the 6♠ , Charlton bets 375,000, and Hiroi calls.

The river card is the A♠ , and Charlton moves all in for 1,845,000. Hiroi goes into the tank for a very, very long time.

Hiroi uses six Time Chips to tank for more than three minutes before she calls, and Charlton immediately flips over 8♦ 6♣ for the nuts -- quad sixes. Hiroi reveals T♣ T♠ for a full house as she is eliminated in 28th place.

Daniel Charlton opens from under the gun then pays Yukako Hiroi's 150,000 three-bet to see the flop 6♣ 2♥ 8♠. Hiroi continues for 180,000 and they head to the turn T♠ after Charlton check-calls. Both players check it and the board completes 4♥ . Charlton uses a time-bank then slides out a tower of greens amounting to 450,000. Hiroi snap-calls.

Charlton shows a bluff Q♠ 9♠, Hiroi ships the pot with Q♣ Q♥

Short stack Toan Chan Truong is in the big blind and calls all-in when the current chip leader Daniel Charlton jams out of the small blind.

Truong is ahead with K♦ Q♠ versus T♦ 5♠ and needs his hand to hold. However, the A♣ 7♣ 3♣ 8♥ T♣ board improves Charlton to a pair of tens on the river.

Daniel Charlton opens 40,000 from cutoff, Toan Chan Truong calls from the button, then big blind Yujian Sun three-bets to 125,000. After a bit of tanking, both Charlton and Truong call.

More chips go flying at the flop 7♠ 2♣ 8♣ starting with Sun who tank-bets 150,000. This doesn't shake anyone and all three head to the turn 6♣ which they all check. The river card comes 5♦ . Sun checks, Charlton bets 275,000, Truong folds, Sun goes in the tank again then calls.

Charlton shows 9♦ 8♦ straight, Sun mucks but shows one card 4♥ for the bottom straight.

With the board showing 8♦ 5♣ 3♥ T♥ on the turn, Zijing Zhan checks from early position, Daniel Charlton moves all in from the cutoff, and Zhan uses five Time Chips to tank for a long time before he calls all in for 392,000 with A♥ J♥ for a heart flush draw with two overcards.

Charlton turns over 9♠ 9♣ , and Zhan needs to improve to stay alive.

The river card is the 2♦ , and Charlton wins the pot with his pocket nines to eliminate Zhan in 41st place.

Catching the action on a board 3♣ 3♦ 2♣ with four players in and a pot of around 200,000 weighing down the middle. After the blinds check, Yujian Sun bets 75,000 from under the gun, down the orbit Daniel Charlton raises 150,000, blinds fold and Sun calls.

On the turn Q♥, Charlton sends out 325,000, and after two time banks run out, Sun surrenders his hand.

Shortly after the elimination of Guy Taylor, Yoon Kang raises to 24,000. Ryan Plant three-bets to 72,000 and everyone including Kang folds.

Daniel Charlton then raises the button to 25,000 and Kang comes along from the big blind. The flop comes A♦ K♦ 9♦ and Kang checks, Charlton bets 18,000 to win the pot.

In a clash Day 2 chip leader Ivan Karatayeu in the big blind versus Day 3 chip leader Daniel Charlton on the button, the former just calls a preflop raise and that then sets the stage on a board of Q♠ 8♦ 4♥ 2♣ 4♠ . Karatayeu leads the turn to earn a call and bets around 170,000 with a single chip behind on the river.

Charlton moves all-in and Karatayeu calls with K♥ Q♥ for flopped top pair. Charlton, however, has that beat with 9♦ 4♦ and his table neighbour Neng Zhao bursts out in laughter with some Aussie slang thereafter.

Catching the action on the river with a big pot in the middle, Yujian Sun is all in on a board 5♣ 6♦ 8♥ A♣ 5♦ with A♠ Q♣ on hand and wins a double up off Daniel Charlton with A♥ 9♥ .

After five 90-minute levels, Day 2 of the WPT Cambodia Championship comes to an end with about 72 players remaining, and the big stack belongs to Daniel Charlton, who bagged 1,383,000 (138 big blinds). He's followed by WPT Champions Club member Dominik Nitsche with 1,303,000 (130 big blinds).

Daniel Charlton checks the K♠ Q♣ 2♥ flop and then calls a bet by Juyeol Lee from two seats over. The 7♦ on the turn is checked by both and Charlton then leads the J♣ on the river for 55,000.

Lee raises to 150,000 and Charlton folds, asking his opponent if he had bluffed.

"Me? Bluff? ... Maybe," Lee replies with a smile and the table erupts in laughter.

Javier Zarco is all in from the big blind with A♦ K♣ , and he needs it to hold to stay alive against the A♥ Q♠ of Daniel Charlton, who is under the gun.

The board comes Q♣ J♣ 7♦ 8♥ 9♥ , and Charlton pairs his queen on the flop to win the pot and eliminate Zarco from the tournament.

Sherif Derias is all-in out of the blinds with the A♠ 7♥ and up against Daniel Charlton with the A♦ 2♠ while all cards are already exposed. The A♥ 9♣ 8♠ K♠ T♣ board gives both players top pair and the kicker doesn't play.

Kunal Patni won a big flip with jacks against the ace-king of Joshua McCully, who busts soon after. In the meanwhile, Konstantin Held emerges from his undercover run and nearly doubles the stack he started with so far, now sitting between Hugues Girard and Ngoc Ha Nguyen. The same table has already lost Joris Michl and Dhaval Mudgal.

Two players left vying for a pot of 14,000, check to the turn J♣ 7♣ T♦ 2♦ . Nadav Cohen jams and Daniel Charlton snap calls to give him a sweat. Cohen has T♥ 8♣ , Charlton with A♦ 6♦ , the river is 5♠ for Cohen to double up.

Jeremy Jehanne moves all-in for 29,200 on the 8♣ 6♥ 3♠ flop when facing a bet of 7,500 by Yuki Nakada. The latter tanks for more than two minutes and Shmuel Bechor calls the clock on him. Another minute passes and the clock is about to get enforced when Nakada taps the table and folds Q♦ Q♥ face-up.

"I would snap call with ace-king there," Daniel Charlton mentions and Bechor sighs, then tells Nakada he will be pushing him around.

In a three-bet pot, Daniel Charlton gets one more street of action in against Anton Johnson and scoops a pot of around 6,000 with them checking down the A♥ T♥ 5♣ 8♦ 9♠ runout. Johnson shows K♦ T♦ but Charlton has the superior pair in J♦ J♣ .

The field is now up to more than 35 entries and among those seated right away are Peter Kiem, Siarhei Chudapal, Kunal Patni, Bas de Laat, Travis Endersby, Daniel Neilson, Daniel Charlton and Vyacheslan Shin. More notables are expected to follow suit with plenty of late registration remaining.
