Zhao needs to improve however with the board running 5♠ 4♦ 4♥ J♠ 6♠ , he misses to finish in 8th place.

HAND #4: Daniel Charlton min-raises from early position then folds to Dominik Nitsche's 350,000 three-bet.

HAND #5: Aditya Agarwal three-bets from the button to push out the blinds and raiser Ankit Ahuja.

HAND #6: Dominik Nitsche raises 120,000 from early position and small blind Neng Zhao gives him action. Nitsche proceeds to barrel down the street J♠ 7♥ 2♦ 4♠ T♦ , betting 90,000, 270,000, and 540,000. Zhao folds to the river bet.

HAND #7: Action folds around to the small blind Daniel Charlton, he raises to200,000 and wins the pot with the big blind Artem Vezhenkov folding.

HAND #1 - Artem Vezhenkov limps from the cutoff for 60,000, and Ankit Ahuja checks his option in the big blind. The flop comes A♣ T♦ 8♥ , Ahuja checks, Vezhenkov bets 75,000, and Ahuja folds. Vezhenkov takes the pot.

HAND #2 - Dominik Nitsche raises from the cutoff to 120,000, taking the blinds and ante.

HAND #3 - Neng Zhao raises UTG+1 to 120,000, Collin Ho moves all in from the small blind for 500,000, and Zhao calls with A♣ K♠ .

Ho turns over A♦ Q♦ , and he needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes T♦ 6♠ 3♣ 3♦ 3♥ , and Zhao wins the pot with his king kicker to eliminate Ho in ninth place.

Dominik Nitsche raises to 120,000 in the cutoff and Neng Zhao calls in the small blind, Artem Vezhenkov comes along from the big blind. They check the 7♦ 7♠ 2♥ flop and Zhao checks the J♦ turn. Vezhenkov bets 225,000 and Nitsche calls, Zhao folds.

Vezhenkov bets another 350,000 on the 8♣ river and Nitsche quickly calls to get shown the A♣ 5♥ for a bluff, which he has beat with the K♦ J♠ for jacks and deuces.

Ronald Haverkamp raises from the hijack to 100,000, Neng Zhao reraises from the cutoff to 260,000, and Haverkamp calls.

Both players check to the turn on a board of T♦ 8♦ 3♦ 2♠ , Haverkamp checks, Zhao bets 225,000, and Haverkamp calls.

The river card is the K♥ , Haverkamp checks, Zhao moves all in for 1,060,000, and Haverkamp thinks for a while before he folds. Zhao shows one card -- the 9♠ -- as he takes the pot.

Amin Riyazati raises to 80,000 first to act. Neng Zhao pushes for 735,000 in the cutoff and Riyazati reluctantly calls.

Once Zhao tables his 9♣ 9♥ , Riyazati sighs as he has the slightly inferior pocket pair in 8♠ 8♥ . There is no upset on the K♦ T♣ 4♣ Q♦ Q♠ board and both players swap positions on the leaderboard.

Amin Riyazati raises to 80,000 and Ronald Haverkamp calls on the button, Neng Zhao comes along in the small blind. The A♥ 4♠ 2♦ flop is checked by Zhao, Riyazati bets 85,000 and both opponents call.

They check the K♦ on the turn and Zhao then leads the 3♠ on the river for380,000. Riyazati folds while Haverkamp then uses a time bank and raises to1,000,000. Zhao goes into the tank as well and tosses three time bank chips out in front before he eventually calls.

Haverkamp reveals 5♦ 5♣ for the five-high straight and Zhao mucks.

Amin Riyazati raises UTG+1 to 80,000, Dominik Nitsche calls from the hijack, Neng Zhao calls from the button, and Supakit Anukoolpitaknil calls from the big blind.

The flop comes K♠ 5♦ 4♣ , Anukoolpitaknil checks, and Riyazati bets 110,000. Nitsche folds, Zhao calls, and Anukoolpitaknil folds.

The turn card is the 3♥ , Riyazati checks, Zhao bets 275,000, and Riyazati thinks for a while before he calls.

The river card is the 8♥ , Riyazati checks, and Zhao uses a Time Chip to think for a while before he bets 645,000, leaving himself about 260K behind. Riyazati uses a Time Chip of his own to tank for a while before he folds, and Zhao takes the pot.

After a flop of Q♣ 8♥ 3♣ , Ankit Ahuja checks from the big blind, and Neng Zhao checks from the cutoff.

The turn card is the J♠ , Ahuja bets 120,000, and Zhao calls.

The river card is the 4♥ , Ahuja bets 210,000, Zhao raises to 600,000, and Ahuja thinks for a while before he calls. Zhao shows A♠ Q♠ for a pair of queens, but Ahuja turns over Q♥ J♦ to win the pot with two pair, queens and jacks.

On a board showing 8♣ 7♣ 7♠ 6♥ 6♦ with around 400,000 in the pot, Neng Zhao bets200,000 and is surprised at the immediate call by Daniel Charlton. Zhao shows 9♠ 8♠ , Charlton wins the pot with 9♣ 9♥ .

Neng Zhao raises to 60,000 from under the gun and John Perry defends the big blind. Perry check-calls the Q♣ T♣ 3♥ flop and does so again for 135,000 on the 5♦ turn.

The 7♠ appears on the river and Perry checks with around 210,000 behind. Zhao bets350,000 and Perry uses two time bank extensions while glancing over at the tournament info.

Ultimately, Perry calls with the A♣ T♦ and falls to Zhao's K♠ K♦ to become the second casualty of the day.

Yoon Kang raises from under the gun, John "Bert" Perry calls, as does Martin Stausholm on the button. Table short stack Jiaxian Pan defends the big blind and they head four ways to the 8♣ 7♥ 2♣ flop. Only Pan check-calls for 60,000 when Stausholm bets.

They check the J♦ turn and Pan jams the river for 200,000 to earn an instant fold from Stausholm.

Yinghao Zhuo raises the button to 50,000 and Neng Zhao calls out of the big blind. Both players check the K♥ 6♠ 4♦ flop before Zhao leads the J♦ turn for 160,000, Zhuo calls.

Zhao bets another 400,000 on the 3♠ river and Zhuo counts his remaining stack, uses one time bank. It is for more than half of his stack and Zhuo eventually calls, then mucks to the K♠ 4♠ of Zhao.

Soon after coming back from the break, Neng Zhao jams out of the small blind into Paul Hoefer, who folds with a shorter stack behind.

Yinghao Zhuo then raises to 40,000 and Zhao three-bets to 120,000 on the button for Zhuo to call. The A♦ Q♣ 4♠ flop brings with it a check by Zhuo and Zhao takes it down with a successful continuation bet worth 75,000.

Neng Zhao in the big blind gets it in against Dylan DeStefano on a flop of 7♥ 6♦ 2♥ and his T♥ 8♥ for a gutshot and flush draw has two live cards as well, as DeStefano exposes the A♣ 7♦ for top pair and top kicker.

The turn is the 4♥ to seal the double for Zhao, who then says "unlucky buddy" once the T♠ river completes the board.

Guy Taylor and Neng Zhao go head to head that builds a raised pot of 42,000 preflop. The board proceeds to complete 5♣ K♥ 4♦ 3♦ T♥ with both players checking to the river. Zhao leads out 18,000, Taylor raises 55,000, Zhao calls, Taylor shows A♥ K♦ that brings a shock to the players at the table.

Somashekar Nahadeva raises and earns two callers in Neng Zhao as well as Guy Taylor in middle position. They check to Zhao on the A♦ Q♠ 9♣ and his small bet is called only by Nahadeva.

After the 6♠ turn, Nahadeva checks once more and Zhao bets 85,000 to receive the next call.

Last but not least, Nahadeva checks the 8♥ on the river and Zhao bets 190,000 to win the pot without resistance.

In a previous hand, Neng Zhao faces a raise to 12,000 and a call. He jams for244,000 out of the small blind and forces folds all around.

Renat Bohdanov then opens to 12,000 and Raffaele Sorrentino three-bets to36,000 two seats over for Bohdanov to call. The K♦ 9♥ 2♥ flop is checked to Sorrentino and he bets 30,000 for Bohdanov to call.

Bohdanov check-calls for another 85,000 on the 4♠ turn and checks the 6♣ river with 103,000 behind. Sorrentino lets his action clock run down to zero before he moves all-in and Bohdanov snap-calls.

Sorrentino flips over K♣ J♥ for top pair but Bohdanov doubles with the 9♣ 9♦ .

Kunal Patni won a big flip with jacks against the ace-king of Joshua McCully, who busts soon after. In the meanwhile, Konstantin Held emerges from his undercover run and nearly doubles the stack he started with so far, now sitting between Hugues Girard and Ngoc Ha Nguyen. The same table has already lost Joris Michl and Dhaval Mudgal.

During the break, Neng Zhao recalls a hand that he also took a video off during the previous level when he tangles with Yuan Yu. Zhao four-bets to 13,500 and Yu calls to see a flop of K♦ 4♦ 2♦ , on which Zhao continues for 8,000. Yu raises to 20,000 and calls a click back to 32,000.

They get it in after the 4♥ turn on which Zhao shows A♦ A♥ for aces up and the nut flush draw. However, he only has four outs with two aces and two fours, as Yu flips over the 2♠ 2♥ for deuces full. The river is a 9♥ and Zhao is left with a fraction of a big blind.

Catching the action on a board 9♠ 4♣ 8♥ 9♦ 5♦ with 11,200 in the pot, small blind Yuan Yu test-bets 6000 only to be sent to the tank by big blind Neng Zhao who raises 23,000. Yu tanks for some time then folds. Zhao shows 4♦ .
