This brings them to the river Q♣ where Haverkamp checks once more. Vezhenkov pushes a stack of his biggest chips. Haverkamp agonizes and tanks then risks his tournament life.

Artem Vezhenkov wins the WPT Cambodia Championship, earning a trophy and $390,650. That amount includes his $10,400 seat into the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. Vezhenkov's name will also be engraved on the one-and-only Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup alongside every other WPT champion from all 23 seasons of the World Poker Tour.

The board comes A♥ A♦ 3♠ 3♦ 6♠ , and the double-paired board brings a lot of chop outs, but the river card is too low to save Ahuja. Vezhenkov wins the pot with his jack to eliminate Ahuja in third place.

HAND #178 - Ankit Ahuja completes the small blind to 200,000, and Ronald Haverkamp checks his option in the big blind. The flop comes A♣ K♣ K♦ , Ahuja bets 200,000, Haverkamp raises to 500,000, and Ahuja calls.

The turn card is the 7♣ , Ahuja checks, Haverkamp bets 650,000, and Ahuja calls. The river card is the T♠ , and both players check.

Ahuja shows A♦ 4♦ for two pair, aces and kings, but Haverkamp turns over K♠ 5♥ to win the pot with trip kings. Ahuja is down to just 3,000,000 in chips.

HAND #179 - Everyone folds to Artem Vezhenkov, giving him a walk in the big blind.

HAND #180 - Artem Vezhenkov moves all in from the small blind, and Ankit Ahuja folds his big blind.

HAND #181 - Ankit Ahuja completes the small blind to 200,000, and Ronald Haverkamp checks his option in the big blind. Both players check to the turn on a board of 8♣ 5♠ 4♥ 6♣ , Ahuja bets 400,000, and Haverkamp calls.

HAND #89: Vezhenkov opens to 250,000 in the cutoff and Dominik Nitsche three-bet to 700,000 on the button, the initial raiser calls. On the Q♦ 8♥ 3♦ flop, Vezhenkov checks to Nitsche who makes it 550,000 to go. Vezhenkov calls and opts to lead the Q♣ turn for 650,000, Nitsche calls.

After the 7♠ river, Vezhenkov uses another time bank and then bets 3,775,000 with 400,000 chips behind.

Nitsche instantly leans slightly forward and smirks, then stares at his opponent. After using one time bank, Nitsche calls and Vezhenkov rolls over A♠ Q♠ . Nitsche still grins and exposes his A♥ 2♥ before paying off his table neighbour, vaulting Vezhenkov from shortest stack to chip leader throughout the last few hands.

HAND #83: Ankit Ahuja raises to 250,000 from under the gun and Ronald Haverkamp calls. On the J♠ 9♥ 2♦ flop, Ahuja checks and folds to a bet of 250,000 by Haverkamp.

HAND #84: Artem Vezhenkov makes it 250,000 to go from the cutoff and Ahuja comes along in the big blind. On a 8♥ 6♠ 5♦ flop, Ahuja check-calls for 400,000 and does so again for 750,000 on the A♣ turn to check the 5♣ on the river.

Vezhenkov bets 1,300,000 with 150,000 behind and Ahuja uses a time bank to call, then mucks to the 6♦ 6♥ for sixes full of fives of the Russian.

HAND #61: Ahuja raises the button to 200,000 and Haverkamp calls in the small blind. The Dutchman checks on 9♥ 7♣ 2♠ and Ahuja takes down the pot with a bet of 450,000.

HAND #62: Anukoolpitaknil makes it 200,000 to go first to act, Ahuja and Nitsche call. They check down the entire board of T♦ 5♠ 2♦ K♣ 8♥ and Nitsche declares "I win" before exposing his K♠ 5♦ . He adds "I was hoping one of you guys had a king".

HAND #63: Vezhenkov opens to 225,000 on the button, Nitsche in the small blind and Anukoolpitaknil in the big blind call. They check the J♦ J♥ 3♥ flop to the T♣ turn. Nitsche checks, Anukoolpitaknil bets 350,000 and Vezhenkov folds.

HAND #29: Artem Vezhenkov limps the small blind and folds when Dominik Nitsche raises to 250,000 from the big blind.

HAND #30: Vezhenkov raises to 150,000 on the button, Supakit Anukoolpitaknil three-bets to 450,000 from the big blind and Vezhenkov folds with the words "I believe you".

HAND #31: Anukoolpitaknil opens to 250,000 from the small blind. Ankit Ahuja jams in the big blind with the covering stack and Anukoolpitaknil calls all-in for2,200,000.

Anukoolpitaknil is ahead with A♦ Q♣ versus A♣ 5♣ and starts recording the showdown on his phone. Ahuja sneaks into the shot and jokingly already waves goodbye.

Battle of the Indian pros starts with a raise of 100,000 from Ankit Ahuja. To his immediate left, Aditya Agarwal calls. They both check the flop A♣ K♣ 3♣ , then Ahuja slides out 125,000 on the turn 4♠ . After Agarwal calls, it's back to checking the river 6♠ .
