Dominik Nitsche opens from cutoff and big blind Amin Riyazati defends. When the flop comes J♥ 6♥ J♣ , Riyazati defends again by check-calling Nitsche's 35,000 bet. They both check the turn 7♠ , then on the river A♥ , Nitsche tries to steal for 165,000, Riyazati assesses the board then check-calls.

It's the right decision with Nitsche turning over Q♦ T♥ , Riyazati has him by one point with K♦ T♠ .

Peteris Enders raises to 55,000 and then calls a three-bet to 175,000 by Dominik Nitsche in the next seat. Following a T♦ 5♦ 3♦ flop, Enders instantly check-calls a bet worth 100,000 and then leads the K♦ turn for 135,000.

Nitsche uses one time bank to call and Enders checks the 6♦ on the river. Nitsche bets, Enders snap-calls and wins the pot with K♣ Q♦ for the flush with the queen. Nitsche flashes ace-jack with the J♦ .

After a rough time grinding at the previous level John Perry has claimed a good pot to chip up to 66 bigs. The hand sees a board Q♦ 2♣ 4♣ A♥ with small blind Amin Riyazati betting 125,000. Perry calls to take it to the river 3♣ . Following a check, Perry bets 200,000, Riyazati calls then mucks to Perry's 5♣ 6♠ straight.

Small pots moving around the felt. Among the more decent ones are claimed by Apoorva Goel and Sho Homma. Defending his big blind, Homma calls a 40,000 raise by early position Xin Yuan and calls as well on the flop 3♣ Q♠ 4♥ for 35,000. The players then check down the turn A♦ and river 7♣ . Homma shows Q♣ J♥ to win the pot.

Next hand, Goel and Xin Yuan call Amin Riyazati's min-raise to take it to the flop 8♦ 6♣ 5♥ . Riyazati continues for 45,000, Goel raises 150,000, no callers to win the pot.

On the third consecutive hand, Homma opens for 40,000, Riyazati defends on the big blind and defends again on the flop Q♥ 9♣ 9♦ by calling a 25,000 c-bet. On the turn A♦ , Homma fires a larger 80,000 bet, and this time he wins it outright with Riyazati quickly folding.

Ronald Haverkamp raises to 40,000 in the cutoff and Amin Riyazati three-bets to 110,000 in the small blind. The Dutch player then squeezes to 200,000 and Riyazati uses one time bank before he pushes all-in, Haverkamp snap-folds.

Artem Vezhenkov and Amin Riyazati join the under the gun raiser Azizjon Rakhimov to the flop K♦ 2♠ 7♥ Following two checks, Vezhenkov bets 35,000 and only small blind Riyazati calls.

Vezhenkov fires again on the turn 3♣ for 115,000, Riyazati calls, and the board completes 6♣ . Vezhenkov fires for the third time for 215,000, Riyazati uses up a time-bank then calls. Vezhenkov shows K♠ 7♠ and wins the pot.

The second short stack in a row exits from table three. First to go is Amit Kaushik after a torrid second level and Dylan Foster then hits the rail against fellow Aussie Amin Riyazati, who currently leads the Player of the Festival ranking as well.

Foster jams for 105,000 and Riyazati in the big blind has not looked at his cards yet. He peels the first one, which is the K♠ and says "the first one is good". The second card is, too, as it's the K♦ .

Foster has a mountain to climb with J♦ T♦ and Riyazati flops a full house on the A♥ A♠ K♥ 9♦ 4♣ board.

"This is the last thing I want," Riyazati sighs before both embrace and part ways.

On a heads-up turn of J♠ 8♦ 7♠ 5♠ , Amin Riyazati checks and Sho Homma bets 70,000 for Riyazati to call from the big blind. Riyazati checks again the J♥ on the river and Homma now bets 200,000. Two time banks later, Riyazati calls and is good with T♣ 9♦ for the jack-high straight, as Homma is caught bluffing with A♦ T♦

Shortly after the elimination of Guy Taylor, Yoon Kang raises to 24,000. Ryan Plant three-bets to 72,000 and everyone including Kang folds.

Daniel Charlton then raises the button to 25,000 and Kang comes along from the big blind. The flop comes A♦ K♦ 9♦ and Kang checks, Charlton bets 18,000 to win the pot.

After a flop of K♠ 6♥ 6♦ , Ngoc Ha Nguyen checks from the big blind, and Amin Riyazati checks from middle position.

The turn card is the T♦ , Nguyen bets 45,000, and Riyazati calls.

The river card is the 5♠ , Nguyen bets 100,000, and Riyazati uses a Time Chip to tank for a while before he calls. Nguyen shows A♠ A♦ to win the pot with two pair, aces and sixes, and Riyazati mucks.

Facing a raise from Najeem Ajez that's called by Hon Cheong "Ivan" Lee, small blind Amin Riyazati three-bets 15,000. Action goes back to Ajez, he calls while Lee gets out of the way. The two Aussies then check down the board A♦ Q♥ T♦ K♣ 8♦ . Riyazati flips open A♣ K♠ and wins the pot.

Catching the action on a board showing 6♣ Q♣ J♠ 8♥ 9♥ and 20,200 in the pot, Amin Riyazati's bet of 22,000 sends Dmitry Nemiroysky tanking for a few minutes. Reluctantly, Nemiroysky finally calls then mucks to Riyazati's A♠ T♣ straight.

Masato Yokosawa has already been eliminated and re-entered with some 11 participants on the rail so far. Below are other assorted counts in the field.
