Remy Murcia min-raises from hijack and big blind Manuel Carvalho defends to take the action to the flop T♠ T♥ 6♦ . Murcia continues for 125,000, Carvalho tests him with a check-raise of 325,000, Murcia flats. The dealer then drops the turn J♠ where Carvalho takes charge for 450,000 and Murcia calls. On the river 5♦ , Carvalho tanks for one time bank then slides out 380,000, Murcia also uses a time bank then shoves 2,315,000. After the count, Carvalho calls.

Murcia shows 2♦ 2♣ which is far behind Carvalho's K♦ J♦ to exit in 15th place.

The turn shows A♠ 5♥ 4♠ A♣ and Khorshad Sagor bets 210,000. Remy Murcia raises to 700,000 and Sagor comes along. They check the Q♣ on the river and Sagor's 4♥ 3♣ is good to win the pot.

After losing a large chunk of his stack, Remy Murcia recovers with back to back double ups. The first hand he is on the big blind with a board showing A♠ 7♦ Q♦ 2♥ and a hefty 545,000 in the pot. Daniel Byshell shoves holding K♦ 6♦ , Murcia calls for his tournament life with A♥ A♠ . The river 6♥ is not one of Byshell's outs and Murcia ships it.

Next hand, Murcia is on the small blind and bets 300,000 on a board 2♥ 5♥ 6♦ . Two spots over Alex Puchalski pushes and Murcia snap-calls, once again risking his tournament life. Puchalski shows T♥ 9♥ , Murcia has Q♣ 6♠ . The turn gives Murcia Q♦ gives Murcia top two pair, and with the river T♠ , Puchalski misses his flush to send back some of the chips he took from Murcia at their previous showdown.

With the board showing 7♣ 6♦ 3♠ T♦ on the turn and about 750,000 already in the pot, Alexander Puchalski is all in from the hijack for 1,995,000 with 9♥ 8♥ with a ten-high straight, and he needs it to hold to stay alive against the 8♦ 7♦ (diamond flush draw) of Remy Murcia, who is under the gun.

The river card is the 5♠ , and Puchalski wins the pot with his straight to double up in chips.

After a flop of A♦ Q♥ 3♣ with nearly 700,000 already in the pot, Remy Murcia bets340,000 from the small blind, and Patrik Demus calls from the cutoff.

The turn card is the 7♥ , Murcia checks, Demus bets 365,000, and Murcia thinks for a while before he moves all in. Demus quickly folds, and Murcia takes the pot.

Fresh off winning a big pot against Yuan Yu with A♥ K♦ versus A♠ 8♠ on a board of A♣ T♥ 8♥ 7♥ 6♥ , Remy Murcia faces a raise to 80,000 by Yannick Jobin and the call by Patrik Demus on the button. Murcia in the big blind three-bets to 350,000 and Jobin then moves all-in.

Demus folds and Murcia asks for a count. The shove is for 2,265,000 and that proves to be too much to call.

Down to just 111,000, Micha Hoedemaker moves all-in and Hayato Kitajima calls in the next seat. Remy Murcia comes along in the cutoff and the two active players check the T♣ 9♣ 4♥ flop.

Kitajima bets the 8♠ turn and Murcia folds, then asks "you have kings?!"

Kitajima rolls over 8♥ 8♣ for a turned set and Hoedemaker is down to one out with the 4♠ 4♦ for an inferior flopped set of fours. The river is the 9♥ and Hoedemaker heads to the payout desk.

Remy Murcia was the one to bust Pete Chen and then wins a large pot off Shai Arbel to cross seven figures by a mile when he turns top pair and calls down three barrels correctly. Up next, Arbel opens to 30,000 and Murcia calls, as does Joshua Gebissa.

On the 8♠ 8♦ 6♥ flop, it checks to Murcia and he bets 25,000 for Arbel to call. The 8♣ turn has Murcia bet again and Arbel folds this time.

On the tail end of a larger pot to the K♥ T♥ 4♣ 3♣ 4♠ river, Shai Arbel is all-in for 431,000. Remy Murcia goes deep into the tank and uses at least five of his time bank extensions before he eventually folds.

"Show me the bluff, one time," the French player grins.

Arbel gives it a few seconds to mull over and then rolls over his cards: K♦ 4♥ for a full house.
