WPT Cambodia Kicks Off Flagship WPT Prime $750K Guarantee

After eight days of games, the World Poker Tour shifts into high gear today at NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, Cambodia as it launches the first of its two flagship premier events - WPT Prime featuring a $750,000 guarantee.

Replacing the DeepStacks back in 2022, WPT Prime's popularity has been tremendous, becoming one of the most sought after events on the WPT circuit. It has also cemented its status as a top attraction at the year-ender WPT World Championship, drawing a massive following.

In Cambodia, the event has already seen two successful editions, each one surpassing 1000 entries. With three starting flights on schedule, those numbers are expected to be breached. The buy in of $1,100 makes it accessible and highly competitive however players only have until the start of Level 10 to register per flight.

With the festival well underway, several notables have already been seen in action and are expected to take their seats in this event. Among them are Yongjia "Gary" Lin, Mai Bien, Dhaval Mudgal, Rayhaan Adam, Martin Sedlak, and Renji Mao to name a few.

Cards start flying at 11:30am local time. The WPT live reporting team is onsite to bring you the action from start to finish.
