Fresh off a runner up finish in the SHR Warm Up, Manuel Carvalho used the remaining afternoon to jump in the 8 Max Survivor $2K Bounty final heat, and come out with the lead, with a massive 830,000 stack onto Day 2.

Day 1C brought in an additional 154 entries, bringing the total attendance to 482 and the prize pool past its guarantee at $227,513. Twenty more survivors advanced to the next round, and are bound to join the 41 qualifiers already on the hunt. Carvalho ranks just below Day 1A chip leader Ankit Wadhawan across the overall order, followed by both Jordy Vleugels with 593,000, and Yiannis Liperis with 586,000, to round up the flight's top three counts.

Other players to keep an eye on include Amit Kaushik (493,000), Kyle Bao Diep (316,000), Martin Sedlak (147,000), and Ilya Firstov (91,000).

In for a race, Haidary remained in his seat, having ran a straight on board K♠ 2♦ 5♦ 4♠ 3♣ to bank the win.

Back to back pots went in Manuel Carvalho's way, keeping him in the current lead with a healthy 69 big blind chip count.
