Hyunsu Lee with K♦ J♥ opened to 500,000, and from the big blind, Viet Anh Le with 5♥ 5♦ raised it up to 1,400,000. Lee made the call to see a flop.

Le continued his aggression with a 1,800,000 bet on the flop J♣ 9♠ 6♦ , which Lee calmly called. When the turn 2♥ came, Le checked, and Lee instantly fired 1,300,000.

Unable to continue, Le decided to fold, giving Lee another sizable pot as he continues to build momentum at the final table.

Chengbei Li opened and Sergei Korzhenko made the call, with both blinds folding. On the flop 2♥ 7♥ T♣ , Li continued with a bet of 500,000, and Korzhenko, who had flopped a set, just called.

Li kept the pressure on with a 1,000,000 bet on the turn J♠ , prompting Korzhenko to use a time bank before shoving for 4,200,000. After a long tank, Li made the call with an overpair.

Korzhenko only needed to dodge a queen and the river 8♣ was safe. With that hand, Korzhenko scored a massive double-up and claimed the chip lead at the final table.

After winning a few sizable pots at the final table, Hyunsu Lee has surged past the 9,000,000 mark. He started the final table with 5,325,000.

Yihao Jiang opened the action with A♣ T♠ , and Sergei Korzhenko with Q♥ 9♦ defended his big blind.

On the flop T♦ T♣ 5♦ , Jiang fired a continuation bet of 300,000, only for Korzhenko to check-raise to 700,000. Jiang made the call.

The turn 8♥ saw Korzhenko continue his story, leading out for 1,100,000 in a bold bluff attempt, unaware that Jiang had flopped trips. Jiang just called, setting the perfect trap.

When the river 3♥ landed, Korzhenko slowed down and checked, allowing Jiang to slide out a bet of 2,200,000. Korzhenko quickly folded, and Jiang scooped a massive pot, strengthening his position at the final table.

Right after the previous elimination, Zhiyu Wang open-shoved from under the gun for 2,100,000. Sitting to his left, Chengbei Li made the quick call, and the rest of the table folded.

After securing an early double-up, The Thanh Hoang continued his momentum by eliminating Jules Rohr.

Rohr called Hoang’s preflop raise to 400,000 and then check-called a 325,000 bet on the flop Q♣ 9♠ A♦ . Both players checked the turn A♠ . On the river 5♥ , Rohr led out for 500,000, and Hoang instantly moved all in. Rohr, with just 350,000 behind, made the call.

Both players hit trips, but Hoang’s kicker played. Rohr was eliminated in 9th place, while Hoang continued to build his stack.

Button and Superstar Challenge Winner Tran Vinh Hoan Nguyen got it all in for around ~500,000 chips against big blind The Thanh Hoang, and they showed their hands with Hoan at risk:

Action folded to the small blind where Jimmy Liu opened to 450,000. Viet Anh Le on the big blind shoved for 1,405,000. Liu used two time banks before making the call.

Players at the table were stunned by Liu’s call. The flop Q♦ T♥ 3♥ was safe for Le, the turn 4♥ brought no danger, and the river A♦ sealed the double up. Le scored a big boost to his stack, while Liu was left with just three big blinds.

Action was cautious when Somuchpoker caught up to one of the last 3 tables of the Mini Main Event, with the action taking shape typically with a min-raise and fold, alike when Zhiyu Wang raised to 200,000, Tuan Ahn Pham burned a timebank, before ultimately folding.

Another hand played out where Quang Viet Nguyen raised to 225,000 and was called by Raju Vijayasankar, and on the 7♣ A♥ 3♣ flop Nguyen continued for 170,000, prompting to fold.

Another example was Jules Rohr raising to 200,000 and receiving a call from Tran Van Diem; Diem check-folded a 170,000 continuation-bet from Rohr following the 7♠ 7♦ 3♠ flop.

Diem met his tournament end when he got it all in against Duy Thuc Nguyen; a classic flip of kings (Nguyen) versus ace-queen (Diem). The 5♣ J♥ 9♥ 6♦ J♠ runout kept kings ahead and sent Diem out to the payout desk.

A preflop all-in occurred between Xuan Duy Tran for 890,000 and Hyunsu Lee, who had him covered. Tran took some time before making the call.

Small blind Mac Van Thanh got the remainder of his 900,000-chip stack in against big blind Jimmy Liu, who called with the covering stack:

Thanh was looking good for a double by the time the 3♦ 3♥ A♦ 6♣ flop and turn had been shown, but lightning struck on the river when Liu paired his king with K♣, sending Thanh out in brutal fashion.

Tran Vinh Hoan Nguyen raised to 200,000 from early position and big blind Le Viet Anh called.

Anh check-called Nguyen's 130,000 continuation-bet following the 8♥ 2♠ 3♠ flop.

On the Q♦ turn, action repeated, this time to the tune of 170,000.

Both players checked on the A♣ river, with Anh showing J♠ 8♠ for a pair of eights and a busted flush draw. Nguyen flipped a pair of kings for the pot.

After raising preflop and getting no callers, Anh Tuan Pham raised again to 225,000. Van Diem Tran moved all in for 675,000, and Pham made the call.

After a 180,000 raise from Duy Thuc Nguyen, Jules Rohr three-bet to 280,000 from the cutoff.

Nguyen responded by shoving for around 1,500,000 chips, covering Rohr 2:1. He slid his cards back to the dealer after a moment of reflection.

Small blind Ngo Phu Quoc moved all in for the last of his 155,000 chips and big blind Dac Dung Duong called to put him at risk:

From the hijack, Korzhenko opened to 100,000. Hyunsu Lee on the small blind raised to 325,000, and Bo Zhang from the big blind moved all in for 480,000. Korzhenko shoved over the top, forcing Lee to fold.

Zhang, with only two outs, needed a nine on the flop Q♣ 5♦ 4♣ but found no help. The turn A♣ sealed the deal for Korzhenko, and the river 7♦ was just a formality. Zhang, who dominated the Day 1 flights and started strong early on Day 2, met his end here after running his pocket nines into Korzhenko’s aces.

Raju Vijayasankar under the gun raised to 80,000. On the button, Xuan Dung Nguyen three-bet to 300,000. Vijayasankar didn’t hesitate and shoved for 860,000. Nguyen used his entire time bank before calling, putting in a total of 840,000.

Qingxin Li raised to 45,000 from middle position and was called only by star of the Day 1a soft bubble Tuan Anh Nguyen. Nguyen was a central part of the "no look all-in" that occurred, surviving and staying afloat as the field whittles down during Day 2.

The T♦ 8♣ Q♣ flop was fanned and Nguyen checked. Li continued for 25,000 which was enough to throw Nguyen off the pot.

In the next hand, Nguyen claimed some chips back with a shove from the small blind that nobody wan't to get involved in.

In the third recorded hand, Duy Thuc Nguyen raised to 40,000 from middle position and Li called from the big blind.

Li check-called Nguyen's 30,000 continuation-bet following the T♣ A♦ 6♣ flop. Both players checked the 3♣ turn to see the A♠ land on the river.

Li led out for 80,000, prompting Nguyen to utilise some time banks. It's worth noting there were 82 players in the field at this point, with a decent money jump occurring from 82-81.

After a healthy amount of deliberation, Nguyen tossed in the call, only to see Li had turned a flush with J♣ 2♣.

Big pot in the middle T♣ 7♠ 9♥ 5♦ 6♥ for 750,000. Alex Boldt checked, then Hyunsu Lee shoved for 595,000. Boldt used his entire time bank before making the call.

Lee showed his cards and was already ready to leave, thinking he was behind. Boldt slowly revealed his hand, realizing he lost. Lee scooped the big double up and now takes the chip lead.

Chung Ky Bang limped in from the small blind and Park Hyung Keun checked in the big.

The all-diamond queen-three-nine flop came, and Bang checked. Keun picked off 20,000 and dropped them in the middle, prompting a quick fold from Bang. Keun happily showed his K♦ as the sent his cards back to the dealer.
