Duy Pham

Four players - Small blind Sangyeop Kim , UTG+1 Duy Pham, Lo-jack Kyoungseok Chai and Cut-off Thai Hoang Bui - were staring at a flop of J 9 Q and a pot 12,400.

Kim checked his option to Pham, who fired 3,000. Chai re-raised to 7,000 and Bui shoved all-in for his last 11,500. Kim then re-raised all-in and Pham called for his last 26,900. Chai moved out of the way.

Level 3: 100 / 200 ante: 200
Kuo Ern John Ong

Both Daon Kang and Kuo Ern John Ong were staring at a board that showed 4 Q 2 beside a pot that had 3,600 chips.

Kang check-raised Ong's 1,200 bet to 2,700. Ong matched to see a 5 turn. Kang led for 5,600 and Ong called to see a J river. Kang pushed the brakes and Ong fired 15,000.

Kang thought very hard, looked at the board, looked at his cards, counted the chips, thought if nunchucks would be effective against zombies and pushed the chips beyond the betting line for a call.

Ong flipped over the Kowboys and Kang flipped his to the muck.

Phan Flushes Over Set For Big Scoop

Level 2: 100 / 100 ante: 100
Ba Hong Phan

There was around 8,500 in the pot beside a board that read 3 2 6 A. Three players - Thanh Trung Nguyen, Ba Hong Phan and Quang Anh Pham - were still in the hand.

Nguyen checked his option from under the gun to Ba Hong Phan in the next seat, who also passed it over to Quang Anh Pham in the cut-off who didn't shy from firing 6,000.

Nguyen made the call and Ba Hong Phan raised all-in for 21,400. Pham got out of the way and Nguyen made a snap call.

Phan showed a flush while Nguyen had a set, hoping to improve to a boat if the board paired. However, the 8 river didn't help, giving Phan the huge pot.

First Bust Of The Day!

Level 1: 100 / 100
Thanh Trung Nguyen

Jules Rohr got the ball rolling with a 5x raise to 500. Thanh Trung Nguyen three-bet to 1,100 with small blind Victor Daccach and the big blind making the call.

Rohr then pumped it up to 5,500 with Nguyen pumping it to 9,000 and Daccach shoving all-in for 11,400.

Rohr stood down and Nguyen made the bold call for a showdown.

Nguyen was relieved to be ahead when they flipped open the cards and was even more relieved when he paired his ace and the turn and river threw bricks to keep him ahead.

Daccach made history as the first bust of the tournament and of the entire USOP Hai Phong Grand Finale. However, he may return after he was seen making his way again to the registration booth.
