Local runner Yu Jun Chang ended the third PS Taiwan Open flight on schedule with the lead, stacking a mighty 387,000 chip count onto the next round. A lesser 43 entries ran up for the evening flight and whittled down to only 7 survivors remaining by night's end. Chang rose to the top just as the day closed after securing a last minute double up with 6♦ 6♣ against Kris Segers' A♦ Q♥ on board Q♠ 9♠ 6♥ 7♣ 2♠ . From chip leader to losing it all in just two hands, Segers' run unfortunately ended a few deals later, two places shy of the Day 2 cut.
