The initial flight for the NT$ 7 million guaranteed PS Taiwan Open games drew in a total of 108 entries and played down to 15% of the field at 16 players. Deep runners were in for a lengthy twelve hour grind before the day's action came to a close with Chueh Kou Long topping the charts. Long had an early boost in the day and ended with the biggest bag by the end of the night with 356,000 (71 BB). Ha Tai Hong trails by just one big blind behind, while defending champion Lai Hsuan Yu also bagged a solid stack above the 300K mark. All survivors have secured a share of the prize pool and are due to return to the scene in two days time.
