Starting with 151 unique qualifiers today, the 8 levels of 60-minute play got us down to just 27 gladiators still standing with Li Dong putting on a show of great aggressive poker during the closing stages that led him to bag 4,910,000, more than double of the 2,430,000 that 2nd in chips Yang Haibo will take to Day 3. Yang Haibo was close to 4,000,000 at one point, but lost almost 1,000,000 in a bluff against Zhang Jason right at the end, who emerged 3rd in chips because of that hand, banking 2,040,000.

Day 3 will start at 1pm local on February 20 and will continue until the final table is reached

Zhang Jason raises to 55,000 from the hijack, Yang Haibo three bets 200,000 from the small blind and Zhang calls. The flop 9♣ T♦ 6♥ gets checked to the turn 4♠ where Yang leads 250,000 and Zhang calls after using a time bank. The river 9♥ has Yang pull the trigger, putting Zhang all-in for 565,000, who puts his cape on for a hero call with 7♦ 7♣ and is relieved when Yang flips over A♠ 2♦ .

Song Ying kicks us off with an open to 50,000 from the button and both blinds defend to see the flop Q♦ J♠ 7♠ that gets checked to the turn 6♠ that gets rejected again for the board to complete 7♣ . 2nd in chips Yang Haibo lays out 125,000 from the big blind, Song folds and Sean Ooi calls to throw his hand in the muck after seeing trips K♥ 7♥ from Yang.

as mentioned, Li Dong opens 50,000 again from the cutoff, finds a victim in Anton Lu, who tries to defend his big blind and we get graced with the flop 3♠ 5♠ A♦ . Lu donks for 125,000 and gets called for the T♠ to be revealed, another lead for 175,000 gets answered by Li, the board completes 4♣ with both players checking and Li Dong shows A♣ 9♦ against Anton Lu's J♥ 3♠ to scoop another pot, taking him to 5,100,000.

Having the largest stack to work with, Li Dong opens another hand from under the gun to 50,000 and takes three customers to the flop 6♦ 8♦ K♠ that gets checked to the hijack in position, who makes it 75,000 that gets rid of one, Li calls and Zheng Tianhao raises to 200,000. Only Li sticks around for the turn K♦ where Zheng fires another 300,000 and Li check-calls once more to complete the board 2♦ . Two checks have Li Dong flip over another winner with A♠ 8♥ and Zheng mucks.

Picking up the action on the flop 3♠ T♦ Q♥ and 410,000 already in the pot, we see Wang Yilong lead 120,000, Li Dong calls, the turn 8♠ has Wang lead for another 250,000 which gets called again to complete the board 9♠ . With a ton of draws having gotten there, Wang slows down to a check and Li Dong jams. Wang Yilong preserves his remaining 630,000, surrendering the pot to Li Dong who now sits on 4,000,000.

Jason Zhang opens 55,000 from +1, button Yang Haibo ups it to 130,000 and Zhang calls to lay eyes on the flop 9♦ 3♦ 5♣ where he donk-bets 55,000 and Yang calls. The turn Q♥ has Zhang check, Yang bets 150,000 and Zhang fills up to see the river 6♣ . Yang bets another 200,000 in position and Zhang finds a call after handing two time banks to the dealer, but mucks when he sees Yang Haibo's K♦ K♣ .

With 240,000 in the middle and Q♠ Q♣ T♣ 5♦ on the board Zheng Tianhao leads 115,000, Yang Zhihua raises to 250,000 and Zheng puts Yang allin for 525,000 total holding Q♦ 9♣ . Yang quickly calls with J♦ J♠ , cant find another jack with the board completing K♣ and starts packing up.

Wang Yilong starts us off with a 40,000 raise from cutoff and Li Dong defends big blind to see the flop K♣ 5♦ K♠ . Wang's 30,000 c-bet gets check-raised to 90,000 and a call presents the turn Q♠ . Switching gears, Li leads for 120,000, gets raised to 300,000 and calls to see the action killer river T♦ . Two checks has Li Ding scoop the pot with K♦ 3♠ .

Picking up the action on A♣ 6♠ T♥ and 290,000 to play for Li Xinze leads 100,000 from the small blind, Yang Haibo raises to 300,000 and Li calls for the turn 9♠ to fall. Opting to check, Li ends up calling Yangs 350,000 and the board completes 2♣ . Another check from Li has Yang Haibo fork out a rather small 360,000 that send Li in the tank, but surrenders the pot including a time bank.

Under the gun +1 Yu Xiaotong makes it 40,000 and Sean Ooi defends his small blind to see the flop 4♠ T♠ 9♦ . Yu continues for 35,000, Ooi check-raises to 150,000 and Yu jams a massive 735,000 with K♠ J♠ and a ton of outs. Ooi snaps with mid set 9♣ 9♥ and starts sweating. The dealer tables 7♥ and Q♣ , giving Yu Xiaotong a straight and catapulting him from the brink of death to the top ten in chips.

Bai Yunpeng lays out 55,000 from the small blind, Huang Weiwei jams to put Bai all-in for 555,000 who snaps and is ahead right now.

Under the gun opens 40,000 and takes three customers to the flop 8♣ 7♣ 4♠ . When checked to him, cutoff Yu Xiaotong bets 75,000 to take down the pot.

Yang Haibo raises 40,000 from the hijack and takes button Lee Kyung Min to the flop 8♣ 6♦ 8♥ where Yang checks, Lee bets 75,000 and then calls a raise to 200,000 from his opponent to the turn 2♥ . Yang leads 200,000 and Lee calls for the board to complete 7♣ . Yang Haibo jams 895,000 with Q♠ Q♣ , barely covering Lee, who finds a call with an over pair of his own J♠ J♣ , handing an almost 2,500,000 pot to Yang Haibo before gathering his things.

Under the gun Wang Yucheng opens 40,000, hijack Huang Weiwei ups it to 80,000 and Wang calls to see the flop 4♦ J♦ 7♥ . Huang continues for 70,000, but gets check-raised to 215,000 and calls. The turn 8♣ has Wang Yucheng pull the trigger with A♦ 8♦ for 500,000, but Huang Weiwei is going nowhere with top pair top kicker A♥ J♣ . The river A♠ gives both players two pair, but sends Wang Yucheng packing all the same.

Li Xinze gets us started with a raise to 40,000 from under the gun +1, Lam Ji Ho jams 175,000 from the button, holding J♦ J♥ and Li calls with 4♠ 4♥ . A sweat until the river 5♣ K♣ 7♣ 6♦ T♣ for Lam, pocketing a much needed double up.

Under the gun +2 Zheng Tianhao opens 40,000 and takes two customers to the flop 5♥ 8♦ 8♥ that gets checked to the turn J♣ . A delayed c-bet of 65,000 by Zheng keeps only Anton Lu around for the river Q♣ where he fires another 245,000 with 9♥ T♥ . Lu calls and mucks, handing a big pot to Zheng Tianhao.

Big stack Ye Chen opens 32,000 from the cutoff and Zhang Jason defends his big blind to lay eyes on the flop K♥ 2♠ K♠ where Zhang donk-bets 45,000. Ye calls and the turn 8♥ has Zhang lead again for 60,000. Ye raises to 150,000, but Zhang is unimpressed and calls to see the river K♣ where both player slow down to check and Zhang Jason flips over the winner 3♦ 3♠ .

Big stack Sean Ooi opens 32,000 from under the gun, Liu Yayun three-bets 75,000 from the hijack, the small blind cold calls and Ooi fills up as well. The flop T♦ 2♣ 6♣ gets rejected by all three players and we see the turn 8♥ . Ooi puts out a feeler for 65,000, Liu calls and the small blind gets out of the way to complete the board 3♥ . When Ooi checks, Liu Yayun makes a last ditch effort to steal the pot with Q♥ 9♣ for 65,000, but Sean Ooi calls with 4♠ 4♦ to scoop the pot and leaves the former chip leader with 3 big blinds.

Under the gun +1 Song Ying kicks off the action with a raise to 32,000, Sean Ooi makes it 80,000 from +2, but surrenders the pot when Song Ying four-bets to 180,000.

Coming off of a string of profitable hands, Wang Yilong continues to put pressure on the table with another 32,000 open from the cutoff and Jin Xudong defends his big blind to see the flop 8♥ T♦ A♣ . A 60,000 c-bet gets check-called by Jin for the turn 2♦ , another 180,000 barrel from Wang gets check-called again to complete the board 9♥ where Wang Yilong jams his massive stack to put Jin Xudong all-in for his last 459,000. After the use of three time banks Jin Xudong begrudgingly lets it go, making Wang Yilong the first player to reach 2,200,000.

Jason Li opens 35,000 from the hijack, small blind Zhao Hongjun wants 125,000 and Li obliges to see the flop 4♠ 8♣ 4♦ . A single 100,000 c-bet lets Zhao scoop the pot.

Li Zhongyao starts us off with a raise to 35,000 from under the gun +1, small blind Chen Peng ups it to 65,000, Li four-bets to 140,000 and Chen ends the hand with a jam, putting Li all-in who folds.

Cutoff Wang Yilong raises 32,000 with K♣ 8♣ and takes two customers to the flop 7♥ T♣ Q♣ . The action gets checked to button Zhu Jie who forks out 42,000 that gets rid of the big blind, but keeps Wang in the hunt for his flush that promptly arrives in the form of the 2♣ turn. Both players check for the board to complete 5♠ where Wang Yilong wants 250,000 tuition for Val-U and Zhu Jie pays up.

Wang Yang opens the button for 25,000, Lin Zhaoyi pumps it to 100,000 from the big blind, but lets it go after Wang declares all-in for 366,000.

After just winning a juicy 300,000 pot the hand before, Sean Ooi is at it again with a raise to 24,000 from the button to take small blind Ye Chen to the flop T♣ 4♥ Q♠ . What follows are three barrels from Ooi and three check-calls for 40,000, 90,000 and 190,000 through the turn 4♣ and river 7♦ with the last one being a snap call by Ye Chen, who throws his hand in the muck after Sean Ooi flips over K♣ K♥ .

Ji Linrui gets us going with a 25,000 raise from under the gun and a call from +1 has Wang Yilong squeeze to 105,000. Ji four-bets to 210,000 and takes only Wang to another monsoon flop J♦ 7♦ 9♦ . Taking a stab for 100,000, Ji Linrui ultimately lets it go when faced with Wang Yilong's check-jam and preserves 330,000 for a better opportunity.

Li Dong opens 24,000 from the button, small blind Li Xinze makes it 100,000, Dong four-bets to 250,000 and Xinze calls to see the super wet flop 7♥ T♥ 9♥ . Dong continues for 125,000 and Xinze check-calls to the turn 4♦ . Another check from Xinze prompts Dong to slide out 275,000 which is enough to take down the pot.

Day 1G chip leader Huang Weiwei starts us off with a raise to 26,000 from under the gun, Li Jason calls from the hijack and the button ups it to 40,000. Both early contenders fill up to see the flop K♥ 2♣ 2♥ that gets checked to the turn 7♥ . Li leads 40,000 to get rid of the button, but Huang check-raises to 126,000. Another call by Li completes the board 3♣ and a check-check has Li Jason table the winner K♠ T♠ against Huang Weiwei's A♦ J♦ .

Under the gun +1 Yang Haibo opens 25,000 and Song Ying calls from the button to lay eyes on the flop K♥ Q♣ K♠ . Yang barrels three times for 22,000, 76,000 and 120,000 with Song calling all the way through the turn 8♣ and river 3♥ to see Yang table A♦ A♠ and throws her hand in the muck.

Zhu Jie kicks off the action with a raise to 25,000 from under the gun, Sim Kok Wai three bets to 75,000 from +1 and Zhu Jie jams, barely covering Sim, who calls for his last 385,000 to enter a massive flip.

Looking at a complete board 6♦ 5♣ 9♥ J♦ 5♦ with 290,000 in the middle Ji Linrui mounts a big steal attempt for 180,000 holding 2♣ 7♦ in the small blind and sends big blind Ye Chen in the tank. After surrendering two time banks to the dealer, he finds the hero call with 6♣ 9♣ and scoops a sizable pot.

The hijack opens 20,000 and takes two players to the flop 8♦ 8♣ T♣ which has the aggressor continue for 20,000, Jiang Daqiao call from the button, big blind Li Dong ups it to 55,000 which takes him heads up with Jiang to the turn 9♦ . Li continues for 55,000, Jiang calls and the board completes A♦ where Li Dong jams 8♠ T♥ to put Jiang Daqiao allin for 189,000 who finds a call with Q♥ T♦ and has to vacate his seat.

Picking up the action on the river T♥ K♣ 4♠ 4♥ 9♣ and 190,000 to play for Qin Yi forks out a massive 175,000 with 8♦ 8♥, but runs into Yan Zhiyong's top pair K♥ J♦ who calls to scoop a huge pot.

With an 85,000 pot and 8♦ T♥ 2♠ on the board hijack Ye Chen leads 35,000, Zheng Mingzhi check-raises to 75,000 which gets topped again to 135,000 by Ye, Zheng four-bet-jams 350,000 with mid set 8♥ 8♣ and Ye calls with Q♠ Q♣ being far behind. The dealer has Zheng Mingzhi sweat, tabling 9♣ and delivering a massive blow on the river J♦ for Ye Chen to hit a straight, sending Zheng Mingzhi to the rail.

Hijack Zhou Peng limps, cutoff calls and Sua Shung Er squeezes to 35,000 from the button. Zhou Peng three bets to 105,000, the cutoff gets out of the way and Sua calls for the flop 4♦ 2♣ A♣ to hit the felt. Checked to Sua 65,000 slide over the line, but Zhou's check-raise to 150,000 gets the job done.

Under the gun +2 Zhang Yifan opens 16,000 and both blinds defend to see the flop Q♦ 8♣ A♠ that gets checked to the turn 6♦ . Zhang forks out a 35,000 delayed c-bet and only Jiang Xinxin continues from the small blind to complete the board 6♠ that gets checked to showdown with Zhang's A♦ 4♦ coming out on top against Jiang's K♣ Q♣ .

Under the gun kicks off with a 16,000 raise, Kong Chun Lam three bets 44,000 from +2, cutoff Wang Yilong cold four-bets to 100,000, the initial raiser folds and Kong jams A♥ Q♦ for 219,000. Easy call for Wang with A♠ K♦ who avoids any trouble on J♣ 3♣ 7♣ 7♠ K♥ to eliminate Kong and inch closer to a million in chips.

Under the gun kicks off the action with a raise to 22,000 and takes two players to the flop 2♦ K♠ 4♣ . Checked to Yang Zhihua in +2, 33,000 go in the middle and only big blind Lu Anton calls for the turn A♠ to be revealed. Another check call for 70,000 takes us to the river 2♥ where Yang Zhihua bets 270,000 in a last ditch effort to wrestle the pot his way, but Lu Anton makes a great call with second pair K♥ T♥ to catapult himself into second place.

Picking up the action on 8♦ 5♦ 5♠ and 93,000 to play for, Dai Dongxu leads 22,000 from the big blind, Sua Shung Er raises to 62,000, Dai tops it to 150,000 total and Sua fills up to see the turn T♣ . Dai continues for 105,000, Sua calls and the board completes 3♦ . With the aid of three time banks, Dai Dongxu pulls the trigger for an all-in of around 200,000, covering Sua, who decides to wait for a better opportunity.

Guo Peng starts the action with a 16,000 steal attempt from the button, but Zhu Jingxuan defends big to see the flop 2♦ Q♦ 6♥ . Guo c-bets 10,000, Zhu check-raises to 36,000 and Guo fills up for the turn 5♠ where Zhu takes the lead with 77,000 that gets called by Guo once more to complete the board 2♠ . Zhu Jingxuan puts Guo Peng all-in, who folds after using three time banks.

With the pot at 71,000 and Q♦ J♣ 7♠ on the board Wang Yilong bets 66,000 from under the gun and big blind Ya Na check-calls to continue to the turn 3♠ . Wang jams his massive stack and Ya Na surrenders.

Defending champ Kong Qingtao and fan favorite John Juanda unfortunately had their runs cut short in 102nd and 149th place.

Picking up the action on a complete board 2♥ 6♥ 3♣ 7♦ 7♥ and 200,000 to play for we see Yea Joonhee try to steal for 130,000 with a missed gutter 9♣ 5♣ , but the chip leader is not getting pushed around with K♦ 6♦ and picks up even more chips.

Massive stack Qin Yi starts us off with a raise to 12,000 from the hijack and takes Sua Shung Er out of the cutoff and Li Dong from the big blind to the flop K♠ 2♠ J♣ where an 11,000 c-bet gets filled by everyone to see the turn 8♦ that gets checked around to complete the board 5♦ . Li Dong takes over the reins with a 40,000 lead that is enough to scare away the opposition.

Cao Tingjia raises 12,000 from the cutoff and takes button Zhu Jingxuan and big blind Song Ying to the flop 6♣ 5♣ 6♥ . Cao's 16,000 c-bet gets raised to 44,000 by Zhu and everyone fills up to see the turn A♥ that gets checked around to the river 6♦ . Three more checks have Song Ying table the winner A♣ 4♣ with her opponents mucking.

Under the gun +1 Liu Yifan opens 12,000, Song Ying three-bets 35,000 from the hijack and Liu fills up to see the flop A♣ 8♥ T♠ where Song c-bets 30,000, Liu check calls and we see the flop 7♠ that gets checked around for the board to complete 4♠ . Liu Yifan pulls the trigger with a 157,000 jam holding 4♣ 5♣ , but Song Ying calls with A♦ Q♠ to win a hefty pot that catapults her to the upper ranks of the leaderboard.

Two players looking at monsters ends up with a preflop showdown again. This time it is Xiao Shaoping with Q♠ Q♥ from +2 and Wang Yilong with K♣ K♦ in the cutoff with the former being at risk for 168,000. The dealer graces us with 8♠ A♦ J♥ 3♣ 4♠ , no help for the ladies and we inch one step closer to the next money jump.

Lun Po Lam opens to 11,000 from the button and Zhou Peng defends big blind to see the flop 6♦ 2♣ K♥ . Lun c-bets 10,000, Zhou check-raises to 24,000, Lun three-bets 60,000 and Zhou Peng has the last word with a massive jam that takes down the pot.

Zhao Ziangyu starts us off with a raise from under the gun +1, Ben Miller ups it to 35,000 from the small blind and Zhao calls to lay eyes on the flop 9♥ 4♠ 9♣ . Miller continues for 25,000, which is enough to end the hand right there.

Ma Haohui gets the ball rolling with a 10,000 open from under the gun, Xiao Shizi makes it 26,000 from +2, Ma counters to 56,000, but Xiao ultimately takes it down with an 111,000 five-bet. Great thing the blinds were scaled back for Day 2!

The hijack opens 11,000, cutoff Zheng Mingzhi three-bets to 30,000 and big blind Liu Yu cold four-bets 105,000 to gather the chips uncontested.

Yang Xiaotian kicks off the action with a raise to 10,000 from under the gun +2, cutoff Xiao Xian three-bets to 33,000 and Yang jams to put Xiao all-in for 216,000. He quickly calls with J♠ J♣ and prevails on 7♥ 6♠ 8♣ 9♥ 3♦ to win a huge flip and double up.

Picking up the action on 4♠ 9♠ 8♦ and 72,000 in the middle we see small blind Sua Shung Er lead 28,000 and Lun Po Lam calls for the turn 3♠ . Checked to him, Lun Po Lam jams and picks up the pot right there.
