In second place with 3,530,000 sits Christopher Park, a regular in the Asian high-stakes scene with over USD 1.3 million in live earnings. Rounding out the top three is Japan's Ryuta Nakai with a strong stack of 3,400,000. Nakai boasts over USD 2 million in live earnings, has an extremely healthy resume in premium events, including multiple high-profile cashes in Triton events and recent victory at WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas. Today he played a strong, disciplined day overall, which included well-timed river bet against Lester Edoc; after calling preflop and checking through the turn on a low, connected board, Nakai fired a confident 55,000 bet on the river and earned the fold to pick up the pot without showdown.

The Day's Action

The day's action featured plenty of fireworks as players battled for a spot in the combined Day 2 field. Ryan Plant found a massive double-up through Bin Leng when his pocket aces held strong against Leng's king-jack suited after Plant shoved the river and Leng tank-called, heavily bolstering Plant's stack and landing him inside the Top 10 in counts. Jimmy Guerrero showcased excellent reading skills against Yi Qin, correctly calling out Qin's seven-five on the river.

Several notable names had good runs but fell short of Day 2, including Taiwan's James Chen, who is number one on Taiwan's All-Time Money list with over USD 11 million in career earnings (The Hendon Mob). Chen was eliminated at the last hurdle when his pocket sevens ran into Yongjia Lin's pocket tens. Hong Kong's Winfred Yu, a Triton Poker regular with more than USD 11 million in live earnings and multiple high-roller titles to his name, also bowed out, as did Australia's Yita Choong and Dylan Foster, as well as Martin Sedlak, and Renji Mao.

The Action Returns: Day 1B of the King’s Main Event Kicks Off as Day 1A Elites Await Their Challengers

The spotlight now turns to LES A Casino for the $15,000 King’s Main Event Day 1B as the premier tournament gets underway, history is being made and marking a monumental moment for the future.

After the tense competition yesterday in Day 1A, the history-making event has drawn a 94-entry field, with just 24 survivors advancing to Day 2. Leading the pack is Estonia's Ranno Sootl with a dominant stack of 3,870,000, waiting for more elites to challenge.

Chasing close behind Sootl is the United Kingdom's Jason Wong, who has also amassed a hefty stack of 3,010,000, sitting firmly in second on the leaderboard. Rounding out the top three is the representative from Australia, Alan Zheng, with 2,980,000 in chips.

Other notables in contention include Quan Zhou (2,840,000), boasting over $14 million in total live earnings; Abraham Ceesvin (2,345,000); and Lei Yu (2,235,000). Both Ceesvin and Yu have also accumulated seven-figure totals in live earnings.

Today, following the same structure, Day 1B action kicks off at 13:00 local time, opening more chances for fallen pros looking for redemption. Late registration closes at the beginning of Level 11, offering plenty of time for hopefuls to jump into the event.

With blinds starting at 1,000/2,000 and a 2,000 big blind ante, players will navigate thirteen 40-minute levels with a starting stack of 500,000, hoping to join the 24 advancers from Flight A. A 15-minute break is scheduled after every three levels, with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 7.
