Po Lam Lun was not far away in third, constantly chipping up in the end that got him from 285,000 in level 16 to 550,000 at the end of the day in level 17.

All of them are currently in the top 10 for Day 2, but two more opening flights tomorrow might change that.

Cutoff Jianguo Shu lays out 12,000 and big blind Po Lam Lun defends to see the flop 2♥ 9♦ 8♣ where he donks 15,000 and gets called. The 4♥ turn and 6♣ river get checked down with Lun's 3♥ 3♣ taking it down for a 2nd pot in a row.

After being down to just a few big blinds, small blind Nan Qin jams 53,000 into a 12,000 open from Junjie He in +1 who lets it go as well, granting Qin a third consecutive win.

The cutoff makes it 12,000 and both blinds tag along to the 4♠ 7♠ 9♣ flop where big blind Jianguo Shu donk-bets 26,000 and only small blind Hiroshi Miyoshi pays up to see the 4♣ turn. Miyoshi leads 20,000 and calls after Shu made 45,000 and the 4♥ river is fireworks. Shu jams, trying to win the hand somehow with his missed flush draw J♠ 5♠ , but Miyoshi calls with 9♥ 7♥ full house.

It goes from bad to worse for Ye when the dealer flips over J♦ A♦ 6♥ before the Q♥ turn delivers a spark of hope that turns into a conflagration on the river K♠ , giving her a straight and another chance to make the cut.

Xiaqing Ji puts 15,000 in the middle from +2 and takes cutoff Renyi Wang to the 8♦ 5♣ 9♣ flop continuing for 30,000 and 50,000 on the 8♣ turn, both called by Wang. The 3♥ river gets checked down with Wang flipping over Q♠ Q♣ to scoop.

Tingjia Cao lays out 11,000 from +1 and big blind Weiwi Tang defends to watch the flop 8♣ Q♣ 2♣ hit the felt. Cao triple barrels 13,000, 22,000 and 59,000 on 7♠ and K♠ with Tang calling flop and turn before check-shoving the river where Cao doesn't take long to fill up for a total of 118,500 with 7♣ 7♦ set against Tang's J♣ 8♦ mid pair.

Hijack Tingjia Cao wants 10,000, small blind Fangwei Zuo increases to 35,000, but lets it go after Cao went all-in for 119,500.

Cutoff Juns Leong leads 10,000 and big blind Wen Wen Chen defends to see the flop 2♥ 9♦ 6♠ where Leong's 12,000 c-bet gets called. The 5♦ turn is rejected for a free 3♣ river that sees Chen lead 17,000 with top pair Q♦ 9♠ but Leong snaps with Q♠ Q♥ over pair to scoop the pot.

What a cooler for Meng close to the bubble. The dealer flips over J♠ K♦ Q♦ J♥ Q♣ outdrawing Feng and the frown turns into a smile.

With an 8,000 raise and a call in front big blind Jianguo Shu squeezes to 22,000 and both opponents tag along to the 7♣ 2♥ 6♥ flop. Shu continues for 45,000, Rogerio Wong raises to 115,000 from +1 and button Huixiang Xia declares all-in for 266,500. Shu gets out of the way and Wong needs a time bank before coming to the same conclusion, showing T♦ T♠ before throwing it in the muck. Xia flips over 4♠ 5♥ and the whole table is in awe.

Cutoff Yue Sun puts 8,500 in the middle and big blind Ke Hu defends to see the flop 4♥ 9♥ 5♠ where his 9,000 donk-bet gets called. The K♥ turn has him bet 12,000 again, but lets it go after Sun raised to 32,500.

The 6♠ and 9♠ is not what Wang was looking for and has to vacate his seat.

The J♣ river leaves Leung's two pair intact and Qiao is down to five big blinds.
