From a massive field of 1,252 entries across five starting flights, 152 survivors returned to LES A Casino (formerly Landing Casino) to battle through ten grueling 60-minute levels. By the end of play, 18 contenders managed to bag their chips and secure a seat for the Final Day.

Tomorrow, the spotlight shines on these 18 finalists as they pursue the ultimate glory in one of the most prestigious flagship events in this series. The incredible turnout not only smashed expectations but also pushed the prize pool well past its KRW 880,000,000 (~$630,000) guarantee, reaching an impressive KRW 1,406,250,000 (~$970,000).

Leading the charge into the Final Day is China’s Haisheng Qiu, who bagged a commanding stack of 4,450,000. Qiu recently captured a title in the Deepstack event of the Korea Poker Cup Series in Jeju just a few months ago, and now, riding that momentum, he finds himself in prime position for another prestigious crown, the KPC Main Event.

For the remaining 18 hopefuls, the first milestone tomorrow will be to reach the final two tables, a crucial step, as the Top 16 finishers will each earn a $5,000 ticket to the 2026 January King Poker Cup Opening Event. In total, the KPC is awarding $80,000 worth of tickets, showcasing their strong commitment and generosity.

Hot on Qiu’s heels is a heavy hitter, Australia’s Dylan Wayne Foster, holding a stack of 4,300,000. With over $1 million in total live earnings, Foster is a formidable presence at the table. A seasoned pro, he is no stranger to final tables across Asian tournaments, making him a serious contender for the KPC Main Event title.

Rounding out the top three is China’s Zhihua Yang, holding 3,600,000. A relative unknown with just $44,603 in career earnings and no prior KPC cashes, Yang has already surpassed expectations, securing the second-largest cash of his career. Now, he’s well-positioned to shatter his personal career record on the Final Day.

Another heavy hitter in the lineup is Chen An Lin, holding 1,230,000 in chips, boasting over $1 million in total live earnings. His presence alone raises the tension at the table, and opponents will be careful not to let their guard down when he’s in play.

Joris Michl’s title defense came to an end at the hands of Yuhao Zhang. Both players clashed holding ace-king, but the board favored Zhang’s Big Slick, giving him a runner-runner flush and sending Michl out of contention.

Chen An Lin teetered on the brink of elimination late in the day. Lin called Haisheng Qiu’s shove with top pair of jacks, only to run straight into Qiu’s rivered queen-jack flush, leaving Lin with a short stack of just 14 big blinds.

The Top 16 of the KPC Main Event will each receive a ticket worth $5,000 for the upcoming 2026 January King Poker Cup Opening Event. A total of $80,000 worth of tickets will be awarded, showcasing KPC’s strong commitment and generosity toward the poker community.

With 15 minutes left on the level, the floor has paused the clock and announced the final four hands of Day 2. A total of 19 players remain in the field. Once these hands are completed, players will bag up and return tomorrow for the final day.

With just 19 players left in the Day 2 of KPC Main Event, the pressure is mounting as stacks deepen heading into the final stages of Day 2. Here are the current front runners who holds more than 4,000,000 in chips:

Table 1 chip leader Zhihua Yang opened to 140,000 from UTG and quickly called when Yayun Liu shoved for 270,000.

Liu was behind but had two live cards to work with. However, the board 9♠ 7♦ 5♦ 5♠ T♣ ran clean for Yang, and Liu found no help, ending his run in 20th place. The field is now down to 19 players.

Action folded to the small blind, where Chuan Shu Chen moved all in for his remaining 245,000. Big blind Chao Ting Cheng made the call.

Chen was dominated preflop and saw his chances fade quickly after the flop J♥ 8♣ 4♠ . The turn A♣ and river A♣ completed a flush for Cheng, sealing the elimination. The field is now down to 20 players remaining.

This will be the last level of play for Day 2, as the scheduled ten levels have been completed before reaching the final eight. Players will continue to battle through this level before bagging their chips for the final day tomorrow.

Chao Ting Chen opened the action from middle position with a raise to 120,000, and Jen Yue Chiang responded with a three-bet to 370,000 out of the small blind.

Takeo Kimura, sitting in the big blind, wasn’t backing down. He fired back with a four-bet to 730,000, applying maximum pressure on both opponents. Chen and Chiang folded as Kimura raked in the pot uncontested.

Kimura successfully added valuable ammunition to his stack, one step further from the short stack ranks during the last level of the day.

Duy Thuc Nguyen made it 125,000 to go from middle position, and Yao Liu shoved all in from the big blind for 720,000. Nguyen dropped in the call after thinking for a while.

Liu trailed behind with his pocket sixes against Nguyen's eights. Nguyen then improved to a set on the 8♠ A♠ 4♣ flop.

Soon after, the dealer revealed a board-pairing A♥ on the turn, blooming Nguyen's set to a full house and leaving Liu drawing dead.

The 6♣ river was a little needle for Liu, who had to sail his boat out of the field.

In a blind versus blind battle, Duy Thuc Nguyen opened to 150,000, and Yiping Zhang fired back with a bold raise to 500,000. Nguyen wasted no time and moved all in, with Zhang calling for his 1,005,000 total.

It was a classic flip for Zhang’s tournament life. The flop A♦ 6♦ 4♥ brought an ace, putting Zhang ahead, and the runout 2♣ J♥ ran clean, securing him a much-needed double up.

UTG +1 Zong Chi He opened to 100,000, and Hui Liu defended from the big blind. On the flop 7♦ 5♦ 3♠ , Liu led out for 80,000, and He made the call. Both players checked the turn Q♦ .

On the river 7♠ , Liu fired again for 200,000. He used a time bank before deciding to fold, giving Liu the pot with well-timed aggression.

Hand 1

Yuhao Zhang made it 100,000 to go from the cutoff and Chengxu Hu defended his big blind.

Hu checked over the T♠ 7♦ A♦ flop to Zhang, who then continued for 150,000. Hu folded.

Hand 2

Chuan Chu opened the cutoff to 100,000 and Hu defended his big blind.

Both players tapped the table on the 6♦ T♠ J♣ flop to see and 8♣ turn, where Hu bet 200,000. Chu mucked.

Hand 3

Chen raised the hijack to 100,000, and Chao Ting Cheng three-bet the cutoff to 550,000. Chen then shoved for 800,000. Cheng dropped in the call to put Chen at risk.

Chao Ting Cheng: 9♦ 9♣

Cheng took the command with pocket nines against Chen's ace-high and held control on the T♣ 5♣ 3♥ flop, while Chen picked up a flush draw.

The turn brought a board-pairing 3♠, but Cheng still had plenty of outs to fade for his survival.

Fortune smiled on him as the river fell the 9♠, improving him to a full house and securing a stylish double-up.

After losing most of his chips to Yayun Liu, Dicky Tsang moved all in for 65,000. Button Haisheng Qiu attempted to isolate with a raise to 150,000, but small blind Fen Mai shoved over the top for 590,000. Qiu stepped aside and folded.

The flop 8♦ 8♥ J♦ brought trips for Tsang, but Mai improved to a full house, leaving Tsang with just one out. The turn K♥ and river Q♣ offered no help, and Tsang was eliminated from the tournament.

Fen Mai open-shoved for 275,000 from early position, and Dicky Tsang re-shoved for 760,000 in the cutoff. After a string of folds around the table, Mai was left at risk agiast Tsang.

Mai took the command with ace-high and held control on the 7♥ T♥ 2♣ flop. The 8♦ hit on the turn, leaving Tsang drawing to a king to eliminate Mai.

Unfortunately for Tsang, the river didn't cooperate as it sent a 5♥, locking up a double-up for Mai

With around 455,000 chips in the pot, a board spread A♦ K♣ 2♣ T♠, where Jeongmo Koo checked from the big blind and Zhihua Yang led out for 250,000.

Koo then shoved for 1090,000, seeing Yang into the tank. After mulling it over, Yang eventually tossed his cards into the muck.

In the next hand, Yuhan Liu made it 80,000 to go from under the gun ad Duy Thuc Nguyen defended his big blind.

Nguyen checked on the A♠ 7♠ 2♦ flop to Liu, who continued for 60,000. Nguyen then cranked it up to 180,000, prompting a snap-fold from Liu.

Action folded to the small blind, where Xu Dong Jin shoved for 700,000. On his left, Yuhan Liu tanked briefly before making the call.

It was a classic flip for Jin’s tournament life. The flop Q♠ 8♠ 3♥ kept him safe, and the turn 6♠ even improved him to a set, but the river A♠ completed a runner-runner flush for Liu, eliminating Jin in brutal fashion.

With Jin’s exit, only 24 players remain, and the field will now proceed to a redraw

The duet flipped over Big Slicks, setting up a strong chance for a chop. The dealer then spread 2♣ K♥ 4♥, improving both players to top pair.

The turn came a 5♠, giving Zhang a flush draw and making Michl start to sweat.

The deck sealed Michl's fate with another spade 7♠, sending him to the rail and shipping the pot Zhang's way.

Action folded to small blind Tek Lon Tam, who raised to 125,000. Big blind Zhihua Yang defended. On the flop 9♥ 6♦ 4♣ , Tam shoved for 405,000, and Yang made the call.

Zhihua Yang: 6♣ 5♣

Tam was far ahead with pocket aces, but Yang still had five outs. The dealer revealed a clean turn T♦ , but the river 6♠ delivered one of Yang’s outs, cracking Tam’s aces in brutal fashion and sending him out of the tournament.

Yuhan Liu opened the button to 125,000 and Liying Su shoved all in for 260,000 from the big blind. Liu snap-called to put his tablemate at risk.

Liying Su: A♥ T♥

Su held the lead with a stronger kicker ten, but Liu took it over soon after as the dealer spread the 7♠ Q♥ 4♥ flop, connecting with Liu's four and giving Su a flush draw.

The 6♣ hit on the turn, while Liu still needed to fade many outs to eliminate Su.

Much to Su's dismay, the 5♣ landed on the river, sending her out of the field.

Players take it slow with only 28 remaining, here are four consecutive hands observed at Table 4:

1st Hand

Zhihua Yang opened and called after Jeongmo Koo 3-bet to 240,000. On the flop Q♥ 4♠ 2♥ , Koo continuation bet 200,000, and Yang check-folded, giving the pot to Koo.

2nd Hand

Action folded to the button where Duy Thuc Nguyen shoved, but found no callers.

3rd Hand

Nguyen raised to 80,000 from the cutoff, and only big blind Yang called. On the flop A♠ Q♣ T♥ , Nguyen c-bet 75,000, and Yang check-folded again.

4th Hand

Cutoff Liying Su, down to her last 225,000, moved all in but found no callers.

Hui Liu raised from the cutoff and Yiping Zhang three-bet the small blind to 470,000. Liu dropped in the call.

Zhang checked over the 7♣ 8♥ K♥ flop to Liu, who shoved for 30,000. Liu made the call to put his tablemate at risk.

It was a flip for Qiu’s tournament life, but the flop J♥ J♠ 4♦ brought a full house for Nguyen, leaving Qiu nearly drawing dead. The turn J♣ offered a small glimmer of hope, but the river 3♣ sealed it for Nguyen, sending Qiu to the rail.

Fen Mai made it 60,000 to go from middle position and Yuhao Zhang defended his big blind.

Zhang check-called on the T♠ 2♠ 4♣ flop after Mai continued with a 65,000 bet. Action then went check-check on the Q♦ turn.

When the 9♦ rolled off on the river, Zhang fired 170,000, which was good for the pot as Mai laid it down.

After losing most of his stack to Haisheng Qiu, Chen An Lin wasn’t done yet.

Facing a raise and a call, Dylan Wayne Foster 3-bet to 230,000, and Lin, on his left, moved all in for 455,000. Foster made the call to put Lin at risk.

Lin found the perfect spot, waking up with aces, and the board 7♥ 2♠ 5♣ 6♠ K♠ ran clean to secure him a full double-up and keep his tournament hopes alive.

Dicky Tsang made it 65,000 to go from middle position and Youkan Li defended his big blind.

Li checked over the 3♥ 8♣ 2♦ flop, only to face a shove from Tsang for around 1,010,000. Li called off his 235,000, putting his tournament life on the line.

Tsang took the command with pocket fours and held control on the 8♥ turn, while Li was still looking for an ace or seven to stay alive.

Unfortunately for Li, the dealer revealed the last card in Li's tournament run with another 8♦ river, giving Tsang a boat to send Li out of the field.

With the flop T♠ 8♠ 2♦ and turn J♦ already on the board, a pot of around 375,000 had developed between Fen Mai and Yao Li. Mai checked, and Li fired 200,000. After using a time bank, Mai made the call.

On the river 5♣ , Mai checked once more, and this time Li decided to check back. Mai revealed his hand A♣ Q♥ showing just ace high, which was enough to take down the pot as Li mucked and surrendered the hand.

Haisheng Qiu opened from early position to 50,000, and Chen An Lin called on the button.

Lin checked on the 9♣ J♥ 6♥ flop to Qiu, who continued for 40,000. Chen then check-raised to 125,000, which Qiu dropped in the call.

The dealer revealed a 2♦ on the turn, and Qiu fired a hefty 400,000 bet. Chen stuck around.

Action went wilder on the 4♣ river, where Qiu shoved for 1,180,000, sending Chen into the tank. After burining three time bank cards, Chen announced the call.

Qiu slammed his flopped trip sixes with 6♦ 6♣ to beat Chen's top pair with Q♣ J♣.

Duy Thuc Nguyen raied the small blind to 8,000 and Hongru Zhang defended his big blind.

Nguyen continued for 100,000 on the 8♥ 4♣ 9♦ flop, and Zhang mucked after using one time bank.

In the next hand, Jiang Pu opened the cutoff to 50,000 and Tek Lon Tam defended his big blind.

Tam check-called on the 6♦ 6♣ 4♥ flop after Pu continued for 55,000. The turn brought a J♣, and Tam checked. Pu bet 80,000, only to face a shove from Tam for 340,000. Pu laid it down.

UTG +1 Jiang Pu opened to 50,000 and then 4-bet shoved for 410,000 after Cheng Rui Wong 3-bet to 150,000. Wong made the call, putting Pu at risk.

Pu had Wong dominated and strengthened his hold after pairing his ace on the flop K♥ T♣ 3♠ . The turn 7♣ sealed the deal, and the river A♥ was just a formality as Pu doubled up and stayed in contention.

Action began with hijack Hui Liu opening to 50,000. Small blind Tingjia Cao, down to her last 50,000, called all in, before big blind Jaemoon Seok shoved for 345,000. Liu quickly called, putting both players at risk.

Both Cao and Seok needed to connect to the board Q♣ 3♥ 2♠ 3♦ 2♥ to stay alive, but the runout favored Liu as her pocket sixes held strong. Liu scored a clean double knockout, adding a significant boost to her stack.

All in preflop between button Dylan Wayne Foster and big blind Fengxiang Hu, who was at risk for 250,000.

Hu had the clear preflop advantage, but Foster found help on the flop 5♥ 2♣ 3♦ to take the lead. The turn 2♦ and river J♣ brought no king, sealing Hu’s elimination as Foster scooped the pot and continued his run.

Jaemoon Seok made it 50,000 to go from middle position and Xu Dong Jin called, as did King Chun Horace Leung from the big blind.

The trio checked through the A♣ 7♥ 8♦ to see the 3♥ fall on the turn, where Leung led out for 550,000. Seok called. Dong cranked it up to 150,000, only to face a shove for 540,000 from Leung. Seok immediately folded. Dong took a long time before he announced the fold.

In the next hand, Seok made it 55,000 to go from middle position and Hui Liu defended his big blind.

Liu check-called after Seok continued with a 40,000 bet on the K♦ 6♦ 7♥ flop.

Two then tapped the table on the 5♠ 5♦ runout and took it to a free showdown.

Liu revealed a flopped pair of sevens with Q♠ 7♦ and took down the pot as Seok mucked.

Fabian Rolli opened the cutoff to 200,000, leaving only 35,000 behind. Hao Tian then shoved all in for 580,000 from the big blind. Rolli called off his last chips.

Tian picked up the lead with a stronger kicker king and maintained his dominance on the 9♠ A♠ Q♥ flop. The dealer sent a 4♦ on the turn, leaving Rolli drawing thin.

The deck then turned the tide for Rolli with an 8♦ river, connecting with his eight and securing him a tournament-extending double-up.

Haonan Wu opened to 40,000, and small blind Yao Du moved all in for 295,000. Wu snap-called.

Jie Wang open-shoved for 150,000 in the hijack, and got himself two callers: Patrik Demus from the cutoff and Chen An Lin in the big blind.

On the 4♥ 2♠ 4♦ flop, Lin checked to Demus, who led out for 125,000. Lin snap-folded, leaving Wang at risk against Demus.

Demus took the command with pocket aces and Wang was on the brink of elimination. The dealer sent a K♦ onthe turn, leaving Wang drawing dead already.

The 3♣ river was merely a formality, shipping the pot Demus way and showing Wang the exit.

Chuan Shu Chen made it 40,000 to go from middle position and Jaemoon Seok defended his big blind.

Seok check-called after Chen continued for 30,000 on the 7♣ A♥ 4♥ flop. The turn brought a board-pairing 4♠, and Seok bet 50,000. It was good for the pot.

In the next hand, Zhouyi Wang opened the button to 50,000 and Xu Dong Jin defended from the big blind.

Jin check-called on the J♣ 9♠ Q♠ flop after Wang continued with a small 40,000 bet.

The duet then checked through the 6♦ 6♠ runout and took it to a free showdown.

With 280,000 already in the middle and the board A♠ 4♦ 5♣ J♦ 8♠ laid out, Patrick Demus check-raised all in for 355,000 after Anh Tuan Trinh bet 145,000. Trinh used a time bank before eventually making the call.

Zhang's turned pair of tens was no match against Hu's flopped trip sevens, leaving him on the brink of elimination.

The dealer revealed the last card in his tournament run with an A♠, sending him to the rail and shipping the pot Hu's way.

Early position Jeongmo Koo opened to 30,000 and found a caller in button Duy Thuc Nguyen. On the flop 9♠ 6♠ 8♣ , Koo check-called Nguyen’s continuation bet of 35,000.

The turn A♥ brought more action as Koo checked again, but after Nguyen fired 110,000, Koo responded with a shove for 290,000. Nguyen thought it over before deciding to fold, conceding the pot to Koo, who added a solid boost to his stack without showdown.

Yayun Liu opened to 35,000 from under the gun, and Angwei Li called in the cutoff.

Liu continued for a small bet of 35,000 on the J♥ A♣ 5♣ flop, and Li laid it down.

In the next hand, Chung Yin Ho opened the button to 30,000 and Liu defended his big blind.

Liu check-called on the 4♣ T♦ 5♠ flop after Ho made a continuation-bet of 35,000.

The dealer sent a board-pairing 4♦ turn, and Liu changed his pace here with a 60,000 bet. Ho stuck around.

When an 8♦ filled out the board, Liu fired again, this time for 180,000. Ho made the call. Liu quickly revealed a rivered flush with Q♦ 5♦ and raked in the pot as Ho folded.

Fresh off his huge pot eliminating Xing Wang, Chen An Lin continued his hot streak. Lin opened from the cutoff and called a 3-bet from Huu Dung Nguyen to 120,000.

On the flop Q♦ J♦ 8♥ , Nguyen moved all in for 269,000, and after using a time bank, Lin made the call.

Nguyen led with top pair, top kicker, but the turn J♥ brought one of Lin’s outs as he spiked a jack to make trips. The river 3♥ missed out, sending Nguyen to the rail as Lin climbed to the top of the leaderboard with another huge pot.

Jie Wang limped in from the small blind Patrik Demus checked from the big blind.

Wang checked on the 2♦ 4♣ 7♣ flop. After Demus sent a bet, Wang sanp-folded.

In the next hand, Anh Tuan Trinh made it 24,000 to go from under the gun and Zhihua Yang checked from the big blind.

Yang check-called on the 8♠ 9♦ 6♠ flop after Trinh continued for 37,000. The turn brought a board-pairing 8♥ and it went check-check.

When the 2♠ landed on the river, Yang fried 60,000. Trinh made the call. Yang tabled a flopped pair of nines with A♥ 9♥ to beat Trinh's king-high with K♦ Q♠.

One of the most brutal cooler hands of Day 2 unfolded between Chen An Lin and Xing Wang.

After an early raise, Lin 3-bet to 75,000, and big blind Wang 4-bet to 155,000. Lin made the call to see the flop. Wang fired 80,000 on the flop 8♦ 8♥ 3♦ and 205,000 on the turn 6♦ , both called by Lin. On the river K♠ , Wang slowed down with a check, and Lin used one time bank before moving all in for 378,000.

Wang went deep into the tank, using all her time banks before eventually calling for her remaining 345,000.

Wang was miles ahead until the river delivered one of Lin’s two outs, cracking aces in heartbreaking fashion. Wang was eliminated in one of the day’s most devastating hands.
