Daniel Neilson: The Laid-Back Shark of the APT

Daniel Neilson is a familiar face on poker tables around the world, and a true fixture at the Asian Poker Tour. Known for his sunny disposition and playful antics, he's someone the APT community always looks forward to seeing.
But don’t let the loud Hawaiian shirts, easygoing vibe, or "beach bum" look fool you — Neilson is a force to be reckoned with once the cards are in the air.
Currently ranked 7th on Australia's All-Time Money List, the man from Down Under boasts a string of impressive titles, is a frequent presence at APT final tables, and most recently added an APT Lion Signature Trophy to his collection by capturing the High Roller Event in Manila last year.
With a resume as deep as his chip stacks and a personality as bold as his wardrobe, Daniel Neilson continues to be one of the most entertaining — and dangerous — players on the APT circuit. Whether he’s lighting up the room with his charm or dominating the table with razor-sharp instincts, one thing’s certain: when Neilson takes his seat, all eyes are on him. And as the tour rolls on, you can bet he’ll be in the mix, gunning for another title and reminding everyone why he’s one of Australia’s finest.
Neilson's Aggression Warm Up

Daniel Neilson opened under the gun to 700 and got three callers in Maw Foo on the button, Wonho Lee in small and Ho-Kuen Li in big blind bringing the quartet to the flop.
The flop displayed Q♦ T♥ J♠ and was checked by the blinds. Neilson fired out 800 and got Foo to fold. Lee decided to hang on but Li mucked as well.
Lee tapped the table on the 7♥ and Neilson nonchalantly put 3,200 chips in the middle which was enough to make Lee fold.
