Hazhao Eliminated as Thang’s Kicker Secures the Pot

Level 17: 3,000 / 6,000 ante: 6,000

Action resumed on a completed board with both players’ chips in the middle: Wang Hazhao, at risk, and Minh Truong Thang.

Wang Hazhao: Q T

Minh Truong Thang: K Q

The flop came J 7 J , leaving Thang ahead with king-high. Both players paired their queens on the turn, Q , but Thang’s higher kicker kept him in the lead.

The river, 6 , changed nothing, resulting in Hazhao’s elimination from the tournament.
