WPT Launches New WPT Global Passport Dollars Campaign With Weekly Online Qualifiers

WPT Global Passport Dollars

Leading online poker operator WPT Global has enhanced the ongoing promotions and added even further options for players from all over the world to attend the brand’s major live and online tournaments. Not only can the new currency be used for different tournaments, but to enable friends and family to take part in the events as well.

Let’s take a closer look at how it works.

WPT Global Passports

First of all, there are two types of WPT Global Passports: The $12,400 WPT Passport which is ideal for the year-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, as well as the $1,500 WPT Prime Passport for the popular global mid-stakes series.

Thanks to the new revamped WPT Passport system, players can convert their winnings from the online satellites on WPT Global into WPT Passport Dollars and then use them at their own leisure at any of the World Poker Tour stops all over the world. To facilitate the planning, please allow at least 25 days in advance to make all arrangements when picking your preferred stop.

The WPT Passport Dollars can be redeemed for multiple purposes such as tournament entries, travel expenses, and other related costs to significantly increase the flexibility and versatility after a victorious satellite performance.

WPT Global Passport Dollar Qualifier

Speaking of satellites, at least three WPTG Passport Dollar qualifier finals with a buy-in of $1,060 are hosted every Sunday at WPT Global. There is also one $110 final qualifier scheduled on Sundays as well. Feeder satellites for both are available for as little as $5 and $11 to give players with smaller bankrolls the opportunity to start their journey for a fraction of the cost.

The winners of the weekly finals will see the respective Passport Dollars added to the balance and they can be used to build a schedule of tournaments to fit however one suits. For example, the $12,400 WPT Passport might be very tempting to use for one big shot at Wynn Las Vegas in December, which had a massive guaranteed prize pool of $40 million last year.

However, it is also possible to split up these Passport Dollars and use them for multiple events during one of the many WPT Prime stops all over the world. They can also be used to cover your travel and accommodation. For every WPT Festival, a maximum of $2,000 in cash expenses can be withdrawn from your own Passport Dollars balance into your WPT Global account.

On top of that, the Passport Dollars can be used for WPT-branded events during WPT Global Online Festivals and Online Day 1’s for WPT OnLive events. But since caring is sharing, it is furthermore possible to transfer some or all Passport Dollars to family and friends to enjoy the trips together or fulfill the dream of competing in a WPT Event for someone you know.

Some important tidbits from the Terms and Conditions can be found below.

Players with a Passport Dollars balance must use Passport Dollars at least once every 365 days to maintain that balance. This can include using Passport Dollars to buy into a future event outside of the 365 day window. Players who do not use Passport Dollars for a period of 365 days will forfeit their full Passport Dollars balance.

At each tournament stop, players with enough Passport Dollars can request $500-$2,000 expenses as long as they also use Passport Dollars to buy into an event with a buy-in of at least $1,100. Only one expense request can be made per WPT festival played, no matter how many tournaments within that Festival a player intends to participate in.

Part payments with Passport Dollars are allowed, but the remainder of the balance for them must be used for the transaction. Any outstanding difference can be made with funds from the player’s WPT Global account.
