WSOP 2026 Day 41 Recap: Main Event Day 1d Draws 4,694 as Von Kriegenbergh Leads and Liu Wins Bracelet
Day 41 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas was dominated by the Main Event, with Day 1d drawing a massive crowd and the combined Day 2abc just around the corner.
Event #85: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em - Winner

Zixuan Liu won his first WSOP bracelet in Event #85: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $219,391, telling PokerNews he plans to buy his wife a new car with the winnings.
Event #82: $10,000 Main Event - Day 1d

Day 1d was everything expected and more - 4,694 entries descended on the Horseshoe, with an incredible 3,638 players bagging chips thanks to the tournament’s famously deep structure. Taylor von Kriegenbergh (312,800) led the flight. Eleven past Main Event champions advanced to Day 2d, with Max Neugebauer (198,700) the best-placed. Ryan Riess (106,800), Chris Moneymaker (39,500), and Joe McKeehen (75,000) are all chasing an exclusive second title.

Viktor Blom (217,100), Martin Kabrhel (202,200), and Kathy Liebert (245,000) are also through. The Day 1d survivors return on July 7. Day 2abc - combining 2,468 players from the first three flights - begins at 11:00 a.m. on July 6 with Ryuta Nakai (323,000) leading.

The first of three Ultra Stack flights drew 1,366 entries with 98 players advancing. Ryan Bambrick (1,315,000) bagged in 15th. Naoya Kihara (590,000) continued his remarkable series - 14 cashes, five final tables, and two bracelet victories - by advancing once more. Ian Simpson (635,000) is also through. Day 1b begins at 10:00 a.m. on July 6.
