USOP Danang Day 2 recap: Tobias Bui, Nguyen Hoang Nam, Qiu Quan, Tanja Vujanic, Kim Wooseok lift trophies; Mystery Bounty amasses VN₫ 5.48BN prize pool
The U Series of Poker (USOP) season finale completed its second day of games at Furama Resort Danang with five more players proudly claiming trophies. In the Mystery Millions event, the last two flights significantly boosted the prize pool to a guarantee-crushing VN₫ 5.38 Billion. Check out the exciting stories below.
USOP Danang stands as the largest and most lucrative festival ever hosted by the young brand. Underway in Danang, Vietnam, it runs from November 17 to 27 2023. TOBIAS BUI crowned champion at High Roller – Charity Event for Red Cross
The day’s biggest winner was Crown Poker Club’s Tobias Bui who claimed the trophy and VN₫ 1,100,000,000 (~$45,330) at the High Roller Charity Event after a four-way ICM deal. This event marked a fresh addition to the USOP lineup, reflecting a commendable gesture of giving back to the community. With 123 entries, it generated VN₫ 369,000,000 (~$15,200) for the Red Cross.

NGUYEN HOANG NAM bulldozes to win the Big Bounty
Nguyen Hoang Nam bulldozed through the final table, knocking out four players to capture the trophy and VND₫ 87,000,000 (~$3,585) in combined payout and bounties. In total, he sent 10 players packing and kept his own bounty ticket. Event 1: Mystery Millions – Update
The last two entry flights for the Mystery Millions drove the total field size to 555 for a handsome prize pool of VN₫ 5,383,400,000 (~$221,860). Day 1B attracted the largest of 206 entries. Singapore’s Tan Wah Meng aka Baxooka sported the biggest stack for a majority of the day and held it to bagging time. He will enter Day 2 running overall 3rd in chips.
Over at Day 1C, 201 turned up with Lee Wai Huen and Do Van Thang bagging the biggest stacks. Lee was ahead by less than one small blind. Both players will enter Day 2 as top two in chips.
