Day 2 welcomed 143 runners back to the tables and played through ten levels of action. Malaysia’s Chong Khai Bin who joins the final ten today, started strong having delivered the day’s first casualty and added 30 big blinds on to his stack nine minutes into the game. By the end of Level 27, the field dwindled down to ten remaining players led by Vietnam’s Nguyen The Anh.
Nguyen The Anh booked a steady pace early in Day 2 and was almost eliminated midway by the hands of Phan Tuan Vinh. Nguyen The Anh got it in with and managed to outflop Phan’s for a 55 big blind pot.
