Kristen Foxen’s Moment in the Spotlight on No Limit
Kristen Foxen delivered the peak moment of the first episode of No Limit, which aired on November 4th on the World Series of Poker YouTube channel, launching the series with its introductory episode by Dustin Iannotti and the Artisans on Fire’s team. The episode follows three storylines about Daniel Negreanu , Kristen Foxen , and Faraz Jaka , effortlessly blending each player’s history in the poker world and showcasing a wide range of experiences in their careers.
The first part of the series is everything people expected. It’s a true masterclass in introducing and focusing on the episode’s main characters while also laying out the series’ overall dynamics. While we are introduced to each of the leads on the way, it strictly focuses on the three names above. However, the most interesting moment came when Foxen was sitting in front of the interview cameras.
Kristen Foxen Had Something Else in Mind

The episode’s peak moment was when Foxen opened up about her run in the 2024 WSOP Main Event, an exciting ride that garnered the support of almost the entire poker community. Even though she had more than enough support backing her, Foxen’s run ended in 13th place for $600,000 when a daring bluff misfired.
Foxen’s performance was one for the history books, but it still left her wanting more. Afterward, a vocal minority within the poker community attacked her decisions in that critical, high-stakes spot.
“I think what hurts is I feel like that’s what I’m known for now,” she told the cameras. “Punting before final table of the Main Event. That’s not the legacy I wanted. I’ve made peace with it as much as I could, but it still hurts. If anything, I just wanted to be a female who’s really good at poker.”
While her opponents made baseless claims online, Foxen had to deal with the outcome of her decisions. Luckily, she had help with that.
“The first week after I busted I kept waking up and thinking about the hand and feeling like, ‘Did that really happen? Did that really happen?'” Foxen continued. “Thankfully, Alex was just like, ‘You had a great score in a $10K, it’s still a really good result.'”
“That’s the funniest thing about poker is truly you can be so upset and make hundreds of thousands of dollars,” she concluded. “It’s the funniest thing.”
New No Limit episodes are released on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PT on the World Series of Poker’s YouTube Channel.
