Event recap

Just over three hours of play, the money was in. This led to an even faster and more brutal game with bustouts trending at every table. With the average stack at only 20 bb, it took only an hour and fifteen minutes to downsize from 764 ITM players to 100. Another hour later, only two tables remained. Hungary’s “running well” railed Ukraine’s “Gleb 1911” in 11th place with AdJd spiking the Jack to dust AcKh. This gave “running well” a commanding lead of 113.7 bb entering the final table. The closest challenger was Hong Kong’s “jomud9ahsorjai” with 60 bb. Eventual champion N@pudp6hjas was ranked 7th with 27.6 bb.

wsop sc o2
WSOP Super Circuit Online Series RING #17: $52.50 Ultra Deepstack Bounty Turbo final table

The final table ran for just one quick hour. Brazil’s Pedro “Xororo” Gil came out aggressive, picking up five of the first six hands to climb up from 5th rank to 2nd rank. First all in showdown was a three way that led to the fall of China’s Xu Fan who pushed with just 8 bb. From here, N@pudp6hjas began to ascend. N@pudp6hjas railed Kazakhstan’s “madeezy” in 8th place. Madeezy shoved Ac10h on a board JsKc9s, N@pudp6hjas called with 7s8s, the turn 7h gave N@pudp6hjas a pair that held at the river 5h.

After the fall of Ukraine’s “_Inkognito!” (7th), Xororo (6th), and Canada’s “Bank_E” (5th), N@pudp6hjas shipped another player’s stack, eliminating jomud9ahsorjai with 9c9s over Ks10s that missed. Heads-up arrived at the fall of Canada’s “JDbirdzz” to “running well” with K2o dominating QJo. N@pudp6hjas had the larger stack of 58 bb, “running well” had 30 bb. It took ten minutes for N@pudp6hjas to nail it shut. The final hand saw a turn board 2c4d9d5d, “running well” shoved with Kd5h flush draw pair, N@pudp6hjas called with 9s9h set, the river 5s improved them both with N@pudp6hjas completing a dominating full house.
