O'Grady Undone Twice by the Same Hand

Back-to-back hands just spelled the end of Travis O'Grady's night.

First, O'Grady made it 100,000 to go under the gun and Troy Sweet called from the cutoff. Gengjian Gu also called from the big blind.

On the 7♠ K♠ 7♦ flop, it checked to Sweet, who fired 100,000 Gu folded, and O'Grady called.

The Q♣ turn saw O'Grady check-call a bet of 250,000 to the 5♥ river, where again he checked. Sweet then announced a bet of 500,000, putting O'Grady to the test, who had just 555,000 behind.

Eventually, O'Grady did call, then mucked as soon as he saw the K♣ J♣ of Sweet, who had top pair.

In the very next hand, O'Grady was forced all-in from the big blind, and was up against Hussein Hassan.

Daniel Francis made it 25,000 to go under the gun and Liam Jehu called from the small blind. Hong Sun was in the big blind and shoved for 263,000, before Francis quickly moved all in for almost 1,000,000.

Jehu then asked for a count, despite being clearly covered, and some commotion was overheard. The two argued about whether Jehu should be allowed to ask for a count when his stack was clearly smaller.

A few members of the table spoke up to say they just wanted to play a bit quicker, and the count was unnecessary.

"That's just the rules, if you don't like it, take it up with someone in a suit," replied Jehu with a smile.

Eventually, Jehu folded and the cards were flipped.
