The flop comes 5♦ 2♦ 5♥ as both players check. The turn is the 6♥ . Alt goes all-in as Wang quickly calls.

Alt shows A♥ 8♥ while Wang flips over A♣ A♠ to which Alt exclaims: “I have outs!”

Needing any heart on the river to complete a flush, it is the T♠ that arrives to give the American a double-up.

The action is folded to the hijack which raises to 12,000 and gets calls from the blinds starring American Kaifan Wang in the sb and Joshua Gerbissa of Germany in the bb.

The flop is 4♥ 5♥ 6♥ as the three protagonists opt to check. The turn is the 9♠ and once again all decide to skip another betting street. The river is the 2♥ as Wang checks and this time, Gerbissa bets 14,000. The original raiser folds and Wang check-raises all-in and is snap called for 129,000.

Wang shows 6♣ 6♠ for top set on the flop while the German turns over 5♣ 3♥ for a straight flush and a double-up.

5K HR Over Half A Million With Reg Open For 1 Level

The WPT Cambodia 5K HR resumes today, February 23, 2025 a NagaWorld in Phnom Penh with the prize pool already beyond half a million USD!

At Day 1, registration stayed open all day, attracting 117 entries. That number will continue to increase with one level remaining today for last minute weekend warriors to jump in. Late comers will still have a decent 100,000 (25 bb) stack at their disposal however will have to act fast to try to catch the leader, Thian Andhoko, who has over six times that amount.

Cards start flying at 11:30am. We will have the final numbers shortly after registration closes at 12:20pm. SMP will be onsite to bring you the action from start to finish.
