After a flop of 6♥ 6♦ 4♠ , Daniel Charlton checks from the big blind, Yukako Hiroi bets 55,000 from under the gun, and Charlton check-raises to 175,000. Hiroi calls.

The turn card trips the board with the 6♠ , Charlton bets 375,000, and Hiroi calls.

The river card is the A♠ , and Charlton moves all in for 1,845,000. Hiroi goes into the tank for a very, very long time.

Hiroi uses six Time Chips to tank for more than three minutes before she calls, and Charlton immediately flips over 8♦ 6♣ for the nuts -- quad sixes. Hiroi reveals T♣ T♠ for a full house as she is eliminated in 28th place.

Daniel Charlton opens from under the gun then pays Yukako Hiroi's 150,000 three-bet to see the flop 6♣ 2♥ 8♠. Hiroi continues for 180,000 and they head to the turn T♠ after Charlton check-calls. Both players check it and the board completes 4♥ . Charlton uses a time-bank then slides out a tower of greens amounting to 450,000. Hiroi snap-calls.

Charlton shows a bluff Q♠ 9♠, Hiroi ships the pot with Q♣ Q♥

Action folds around to the blinds, Jeremy Jehanne limps with Q♣ T♠ and big blind Yukako Hiroi checks with 4♦ 6♦ . When the flop runs T♠ 5♠ 3♥ , the chips go flying. Jehanne needs to dodge the open-ended outs but with the turn 7♥ he is drawing dead and is eliminated.

Ankit Ahuja had previously won a healthy pot by betting out Yukako Hiroi. She then jams over the top of the short stack all-in of Shmuel Snir Bechor, who is at risk for 101,000 only.

Kevin Ewald in the blinds happily calls all-in for 717,000 as he has the A♥ A♦

Bechor with the A♣ K♠ and Hiroi with A♠ K♥ need a lot of help. They actually have the chance for an unlikely chop after the J♥ 6♣ 4♠ 3♦ turn but the wheel never completes, instead it is the 9♣ that follows on the river.

After the hand is over, Hiroi asks if she should have just called the first all-in preflop. The answer from several players is yes, but as Michael Gathy points out "you just saved time", referring to the likely call of Ewald's reshove.

A scan of the field during the break turned up nine players with at least 1.3 million in chips, creating an unofficial leaderboard:

A player raises under the gun to 12,000, Yukako Hiroi calls from the cutoff, and Hugues Girard reraises from the button to 42,000. The UTG player folds, and Hiroi calls.

The flop comes K♦ Q♦ T♣ , Hiroi checks, Girard bets 30,000, and Hiroi check-raises to 80,000. Girard thinks for a while before he calls.

The turn card is the A♦ , and both players check.

The river card is the 9♦ , Hiroi bets 100,000, and Girard thinks for a while before he folds. Hiroi takes the pot.

Before their table breaks, Marc Joseph tangles with Sho Homma and they create a pot of nearly 150,000 to the 5♣ 4♥ 2♣ 8♥ 9♥ river. Homma checks and Joseph bets 100,000 with only a few chips behind. The snap fold follows and they head different ways soon after.

Several players on table 25 groan when a three-way all-in unfolds in dramatic fashion. Rahul Melwani is all-in with a short stack and A♣ 7♥ to end up at risk against the K♠ K♦ of Marcus Tan and Yukako Hiroi, who has both covered and reveals 6♥ 6♦ .

Hiroi flops best on 6♣ 5♦ 3♠ while Melwani has a gutshot. Tan then turns the superior set on K♥ only to get hit by a one outer on the 6♠ river.

Dylan Foster opens to 6,500 in the cutoff and Yukako Hiroi calls on the button, all other players fold. Foster checks the 4♥ 3♦ 2♠ flop and then calls a bet worth10,000. They check the 7♣ on the turn and Foster also checks the A♣ on the river.

Hiroi bets 30,000 and wins the pot uncontested.

"Don't write that one down," the always jovial Foster tells the live reporting team. He sits comfortably above the average and Hiroi also just chips up above that threshold.

With a 8000 already in the pot Yukako Hiroi check-raises to 6000 on a flop 7♥ A♠ T♥ and Albert Nguyen tops up his bet three times over to meet it. On the turn 7♠ , Hiroi continues for 5000, and after Nguyen calls, they decide to check the river 9♦ .

Hiroi is first to show A♣ T♣ and wins the pot as Nguyen mucks.

Shankui Li raises to 600 and Yukako Hiroi three-bets to 2,000 in the cutoff for Li to call. Li then check-calls three streets for 2,500 on the A♠ T♠ T♦ flop, 6,000 on the 5♣ turn and 5,000 on the 7♦ river.

Hiroi flips over Q♣ T♣ for trips tens and wins the pot.
