Homma's ace is dominated and he never finds any help on the J♣ 3♣ 2♠ T♥ 5♣ board to bow out in tenth place. All remaining nine players will now combine to one table and the hand-for-hand coverage commences shortly.

Ankit Ahuja raises to 120,000 two hands in a row. He first claims the blinds and in the second hand, Sho Homma three-bets to 360,000 from the big blind. Ahuja swiftly four-bet jams and Homma folds after brief consideration.

In the very next hand, Homma gets the last 475,000 in from the small blind with the K♠ 8♦ . Yoon Kang calls with the K♣ 4♥ but the kicker plays for Homma on the T♣ 6♠ 3♠ Q♦ 2♠ runout.

Sho Homma raises to 100,000 on the button and then smirks "you always check-raise me" when facing the prospect of Ankit Ahuja coming along. Ahuja calls and Homma checks behind the T♠ 2♣ 2♥ flop.

The 6♥ turn has Ahuja bet 165,000 for Homma to call and he then makes it 430,000 to go on the 3♦ river. Homma uses two time banks and folds.

Yoon Kang raises to 100,000 and Ankit Ahuja calls in the next seat. Ahuja check-calls for 90,000 on the K♠ 6♠ 3♦ flop before they check down the 3♥ turn and 2♠ river.

Sho Homma then opens to 100,000 on the button for Ahuja to call from the big blind. Ahuja check-raises from 70,000 to 220,000 and Homma folds.

Sho Homma opens to 100,000 on the button and Ankit Ahuja defends from the big blind to the A♣ T♥ 6♣ flop. Ahuja check-raises from 70,000 to 205,000 and Homma comes along to then face a much larger bet of 700,000 by Ahuja on the 5♠ turn after one time bank extension is used.

Homma calls for around one third of his stack and Ahuja then uses the entire 30-second action clock on the 4♥ river before declaring all-in. Homma places all of his time bank extensions out in front and uses three of them before folding.

Sho Homma takes the reins from the button position with a min-raise and is denied the steal as big blind Ankit Ahuja makes the call. At the flop 8♥ J♦ 4♠ , Homma bets 55,000 only to be check-raised by Ahuja for 175,000. Homma calls then they both take it easy on the turn Q♦ . No more checking on the river 3♥ with Ahuja leading out 230,000, Homma folds after using up a time-bank.

Sho Homma raises to 60,000 from under the gun and Ronald Haverkamp on the button three-bets to 175,000. Artem Vezhenkov four-bets to 400,000 in the big blind after using one time bank. Homma folds and Haverkamp then moves all-in.

The shove is for 1,180,000 total and Vezhenkov sighs: "I think maybe it is a bad call and bad move, but I have to call," the Russian online regular says and puts in calling chips a mere second later.

Haverkamp's K♠ K♦ are up against T♦ T♠ and hold on the 9♣ 8♠ 5♠ 2♣ 4♠ runout for the double.

"I also do that with ace-king," Haverkamp mentions.

On the verge of a pay jump, Sho Homma raises from middle position to 50,000, and Victor Li reraises from the cutoff to 250,000, leaving himself just 5K behind. Homma moves all in, and Li uses a Time Chip to tank for about a minute before he calls all in for 255,000 with J♦ J♥ .

Homma turns over K♥ Q♣, and Li needs his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board comes 9♥ 6♥ 3♥ 4♠ 5♣ , and the pocket jacks hold up for Li to win the pot and double up in chips.

Once the final three tables are set, Aditya Agarwal raises into the blinds and Sho Homma defends. Homma check-calls for 85,000 on the A♣ J♠ 7♦ flop and checks the K♦ turn. Agarwal now bets 225,000 and that wins the pot without further resistance.

Small pots moving around the felt. Among the more decent ones are claimed by Apoorva Goel and Sho Homma. Defending his big blind, Homma calls a 40,000 raise by early position Xin Yuan and calls as well on the flop 3♣ Q♠ 4♥ for 35,000. The players then check down the turn A♦ and river 7♣ . Homma shows Q♣ J♥ to win the pot.

Next hand, Goel and Xin Yuan call Amin Riyazati's min-raise to take it to the flop 8♦ 6♣ 5♥ . Riyazati continues for 45,000, Goel raises 150,000, no callers to win the pot.

On the third consecutive hand, Homma opens for 40,000, Riyazati defends on the big blind and defends again on the flop Q♥ 9♣ 9♦ by calling a 25,000 c-bet. On the turn A♦ , Homma fires a larger 80,000 bet, and this time he wins it outright with Riyazati quickly folding.

"I should have gone all-in preflop," Paul Hoefer sighs when he bet-folds the river for nearly half his stack and is left on fewer than 20 big blinds. He then adds it was a three-bet pot on which the board shows A♦ 9♦ 3♥ T♣ K♠ . Hoefer bets 190,000 and Sho Homma jams to force a fold from his table neighbour, with Homma exposing the Q♠ .

In the next hand, Jhon Hendri jams for 171,000 and Homma calls with the 7♠ 7♥. Hendri laughs as he exposes the dominated 2♥ 2♣ , which fails to improve on the Q♦ T♦ 4♦ 4♥ 3♥ board.

On a heads-up turn of J♠ 8♦ 7♠ 5♠ , Amin Riyazati checks and Sho Homma bets 70,000 for Riyazati to call from the big blind. Riyazati checks again the J♥ on the river and Homma now bets 200,000. Two time banks later, Riyazati calls and is good with T♣ 9♦ for the jack-high straight, as Homma is caught bluffing with A♦ T♦

Shortly after the elimination of Guy Taylor, Yoon Kang raises to 24,000. Ryan Plant three-bets to 72,000 and everyone including Kang folds.

Daniel Charlton then raises the button to 25,000 and Kang comes along from the big blind. The flop comes A♦ K♦ 9♦ and Kang checks, Charlton bets 18,000 to win the pot.

In Hand #5 of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, Dylan Foster is all in from the small blind for 68,000 with K♣ Q♥ , and he needs it to hold to stay alive against the T♦ 8♣ of Sho Homma in the cutoff.

The board comes K♥ Q♣ 3♠ 8♦ Q♦ , and Foster flops two pair and rivers a full house to win the pot and double up in chips.

With the flop showing K♦ 8♣ 6♥ , Sho Homma in the blinds check-raises to 40,000. Kevin Ewald then clicks it back to 80,000 and Homma goes into a brief tank. He opts to fold and Ewald flashes the A♠ T♥ for ace-high only.

Looking down at K♣ T♥ , Sho Homma defends his big blind by calling the raise of under the gun Narman Yaghmai. At the flop 5♦ K♦ T♣ , Homma check-calls his top two for 15,000. On the turn 3♥ , Yaghmai bets 45,000, Homma tries to trap with a check-raise of 120,000 but Yaghmai doesn't take the bait. Homma flips open his hand.

Before their table breaks, Marc Joseph tangles with Sho Homma and they create a pot of nearly 150,000 to the 5♣ 4♥ 2♣ 8♥ 9♥ river. Homma checks and Joseph bets 100,000 with only a few chips behind. The snap fold follows and they head different ways soon after.
