A short-stacked Mario Fata survives the bubble and then gets it in with jack-ten to find himself up against Dominik Nitsche with the K♦ 6♦ .

Fata has a lot of outs on the Q♣ 9♥ 3♣ flop but bricks the 2♥ turn as well as the 4♣ river.

Max Deveson, also a regular on the South African poker circuit, is likewise no longer in contention. The Brit recalls his bustout hand in which pocket kings get cracked by the pocket tens of Zijing Zhan.
