WPT Cambodia Championship ($3,500)

After a flop of 9♦ 8♦ 2♣, Ankit Ahuja bets 70,000 from the big blind, Juyeol Lee moves all in from the hijack for 382,000, and Ahuja waits for an exact count before he calls with A♠ 9♣ for a pair of nines.

Lee turns over A♦ J♠ for ace high, and needs to improve to stay alive.

The turn card is the K♠, the river card is the 4♥, and Ahuja wins the pot with his pair of nines to eliminate Lee in 45th place.

Three players in for 30,000 take it to the flop 5♥ 8♠ 6♥ . Action is checked to Ankit Ahuja, he bets 30,000. Only Juyeol Lee pays to continue and they see a turn Q♦ . Lee checks again, Ahuja fires a larger bet of 140,000, and after using up a time extension, Lee gives up his hand.

Juyeol Lee has been on attack mode for nearly an orbit. Facing a raise from the button Kevin Ewald, he drops two chips in from the small blind and attempts to take one back but it's binding so he is forced to three-bet. Action goes back to Ewald who calls. At the flop T♥ 7♦ 5♦ , Lee checks, Ewald shoves and drags in the pot while showing Lee A♠ 7♠ .

Next hand, Lee three-bet shoves on the button on top of Shmuel Bechor's raise then wins with no callers. Repeat action at cutoff, Lee shoves 282,000 to push out raiser Dominik Nitsche from the pot.

Still feeling feisty, Lee loses 20,000 on the next hand by calling a raise then folding at the flop but makes up for it by shoving on the next two hands to collect the blinds and ante.

Still not done, Lee opens from under the gun and big blind Ewald calls. At the flop Q♦ Q♣ A♠ , Lee continues for 18,000 and wins the pot again.

On the eighth consecutive hand, Lee three-bets 75,000 from the big blind and raiser Dominik Nitsche calls. They proceed to check to the turn J♠ Q♥ J♣ Q♣ where Nitsche bets 125,000 and wins the pot with Lee folding

On a flop of 9♠ 9♣ 5♥ with 95,000 in the middle, Kevin Ewald checks and Juyeol Lee bets 35,000. Ewald check-jams for 167,000 and Lee goes deep into the tank. He uses three time banks and then folds with two seconds left on the action clock.

On the river of a A♦ Q♦ J♣ Q♣ Q♠ board, Juyeol Lee check-calls the shove by Hugues Girard for 128,000. Girard shows the Q♥ 9♣ for quads to earn a late boost.

Daniel Charlton checks the K♠ Q♣ 2♥ flop and then calls a bet by Juyeol Lee from two seats over. The 7♦ on the turn is checked by both and Charlton then leads the J♣ on the river for 55,000.

Lee raises to 150,000 and Charlton folds, asking his opponent if he had bluffed.

"Me? Bluff? ... Maybe," Lee replies with a smile and the table erupts in laughter.

Down to 99 players, all remaining eleven tables are balanced and the money bubble is looming near the end of the penultimate level on Day 2.

Martin Sedlak raises to 12,000 on the button for both blinds to call including Azizjon Rakhimov and Juyeol Lee. They check to the J♦ 8♠ 6♠ 3♦ 4♠ river on which Lee bets 24,000. Sedlak mulls it over for a short while and folds, as does Rakhimov.

A scan of the field during the break turned up 16 players with at least 500K in chips, creating an unofficial leaderboard:

Manuel Carvalho opens 8500, Juyeol Lee calls, then cutoff Michael Gathy three-bets for 32,000. Action back on Carvalho, he tanks then sends out a four-bet of 75,000. This gets a fold from Lee while Gathy tanks. After a minute or so, Gathy five-bets 138,000 and this time Carvalho tanks. He takes a couple of minutes before giving up his hand and near 19 bigs.

Next hand, Yoon Kang opens 8000 from under the gun and is called by both Gathy and Carvalho. They all check to the turn 9♣ K♦ 7♣ 6♥ . Carvalho leads out 18,000, Kang folds, Gathy calls. The river J♣ sees a larger 53,000 bet from Carvalho, Gathy folds.

There were 750 entries in the WPT Cambodia Championship, but only 242 have made it to Day 2, where we expect to burst the Money Bubble.

The total prizepool is worth $2,400,750, and the final 94 players will finish in the money. Here is the full list of payouts:

There were 347 entries on Day 1A of the WPT Cambodia Championship, and on the final hand of the night, Joshua Gebissa knocked out Daniel Neilson to catapult into the chip lead with 571,000.

There were 109 survivors from this flight, and the full list of official chip counts will be released later tonight. In the meantime, here is a preview of the top of the leaderboard:

Day 1B begins tomorrow (Thursday) at 11:30 am, and registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the start of Level 10 (around 9:45 pm).

Two players are at risk against Egidijus Digrys and Abhinav Iyer has the best of it with K♠ K♦ . Two seats over, Junghyun An tables the Q♦ Q♥ and Digrys attempts to reduce the field by two contenders with the A♥ K♥ .

The J♠ 9♣ 5♦ K♣ 6♥ and Iyer essentially triples up while An busts.

A scan of the field during the break turned up 14 players with at least 200,000 in chips, plus one more knocking on the door to create an unofficial leaderboard:

Juyeol Lee check -raises 3500 on a flop 4♣ 3♠ 8♦ and Nariman Yaghmai tops up his 1500 bet. With the pot now at 9700, Lee fires 7,000 on the turn 9♠ and this time claims the pot uncontested.

One of the latest tables to open brings a larger pot on a queen-high board. Vishal Ojha calls a bet of 4,000 by Juyeol Lee and gets shown J♠ 8♠ for flopped two pair and a missed flush draw on the turn, which is still good enough to win the pot.
