In a clash Day 2 chip leader Ivan Karatayeu in the big blind versus Day 3 chip leader Daniel Charlton on the button, the former just calls a preflop raise and that then sets the stage on a board of Q♠ 8♦ 4♥ 2♣ 4♠ . Karatayeu leads the turn to earn a call and bets around 170,000 with a single chip behind on the river.

Charlton moves all-in and Karatayeu calls with K♥ Q♥ for flopped top pair. Charlton, however, has that beat with 9♦ 4♦ and his table neighbour Neng Zhao bursts out in laughter with some Aussie slang thereafter.

Following a raise from mid-position, cutoff Ivan Karatayeu calls, big blind Dominik Nitsche three-bets 74,000, and only Karatayeu calls. The flop then comes T♠ 5♥ 7♣ . Nitsche fires 97,000 and Karatayeu calls. Repeat action on the turn J♣ with a large 250,000 bet from Nitsche, Karatayeu tanks then gives up his stake on the pot. Nitsche climbs to over a million.

After the chip leader Ivan Karatayeu opens from cutoff for 10,000, Peter Da on the big blind three-bets 25,000 and is ready to send it all in. Anticipating the moment, Karatayeu pushes his and Da bangs down the call for his tournament life.

With the board running 9♣ 7♦ T♥ J♠ 6♥ , Da happily rakes in the boost.

Ivan Karatayeu defends his big blind to head to the flop with Adam Friedman. The cards land K♦ 2♦ J♦ . Karatayeu leads out 5500 and Friedman calls. The turn and river 8♦ 5♣ are checked by both.

Karatayeu shows J♣ 7♣ and just before the dealer ships, Friedman says, "nope, this way", then flips over Q♣ J♥ higher kicker.

There were 750 entries in the WPT Cambodia Championship, but only 242 have made it to Day 2, where we expect to burst the Money Bubble.

There were 403 entries on Day 1B of the WPT Cambodia Championship, creating a total field of 750 entries and generating a prizepool worth $2,400,750, crushing the $1.5 million guarantee.

During the final hands of the night, Yannick Jobin jams for around 90,000 preflop with A♠ K♦ right into the A♥ A♣ of chip leader Ivan Karatayeu. There is no upset on the J♦ 5♥ 5♠ 2♠ 7♠ board and the WPT Prime Cambodia finalist exits at the end of Day 1b.

Big pot of 48,000 by the turn 4♦ 8♣ K♣ T♠ sees a near pot by by small blind Ivan Karatayeu of 45,000 to send Peter Da deep in thought. When Da calls, he tanks again on the river 3♦ after Karatayeu pushes. Da eventually let's go of his hand.

Three players in for 6300 each preflop take it to the flop J♦ 7♣ T♠ . Ivan Karatayeu continues for 5200 and still doesn't shake Sreekanth Narayanan and Francisco Mir Sanchez to head to the turn 2♦ . Karatayeu fires again for a heftier 12,000 bet and this time it is good to claim the pot right there.

Down to the last 15,000, Ivan Karatayeu is all-in with the 6♠ 6♥ and flips against Victor Li with the A♥ 9♣ . The T♦ T♥ 9♥ 2♥ 8♣ board pairs Li's kicker and Karatayeu exits the tournament area.

The turn shows T♥ 4♣ 3♣ A♠ , Ivan Karatayeu check-calls for 1,100 against Takashi Yagura and does so again for 2,500 on the 6♠ river.

Yagura shows K♠ Q♥ and Karatayeu wins the pot with A♥ 8♥ .

With some 11,500 in the middle to the 9♦ 8♣ 3♣ flop, Steven Zhou simply moves all-in for 37,100. Ivan Karatayeu is rather stunned and asks for an exact count, but ultimately opted to fold.
