Shortest stacked Cliton Taliwanth from South Africa won the one hand flip against Chinese players Jinlong Hu and Xiaosheng Zheng to claim the WPT trophy and the ticket worth $1,100 to the Prime Championship. This was Taliwanth's Asian debut and emerged a champion. In addition, Taliwanth earned a payout of $24,464. Congratulations to the champ!

Mingcheng Zhang opens, James Brooks three-bets all in, Cliton Taliwanth with joins Brooks, everyone else folds.

Catching the action on the turn Q♣ 8♠ 7♣ J♥ with 1,570,000 in the pot, Jinlong Hu shoves 900,000, Mingcheng Zhang tanks then folds.

Small blind Hogyun Kang limps and big blind Quang Huy Nguyen checks, flop comes T♥ 2♥ J♣ both check to the turn 8♥ . Nguyen bets 150,000, Kang check-calls. The river J♠ , check again by Kang, Nguyen slides out 500,000 that covers Kang's stack. After tanking Kang calls for his tournament life. Nguyen shows J♦ 5♠ , Kang mucks and exits in 10th place.

Hand opens with Ki Bum Park min-raising, cutoff Mingcheng Zheng and button Hogyun Kang call, big blind Shaohua Luo three-bets 450,000, only Zheng continues.

At the flop A♥ Q♦ K♠ , Luo sends out 350,000, Zheng flats. Both check the turn T♠ , then on the river Q♥ ,Luo jams, Zheng gives it a thought then calls.

Shaohua Luo opens and small blind Hogyun Kang calls to the flop Q♥ T♠ 3♦ . Luo continues for 60,000, Kang check-raises 175,000, Luo calls. Kang checks the turn A♥, Luo shoves and wins the pot.

Hogyun Kang opens 100,000, Quang Huy Nguyen three-bets 320,000, Ki Bum Park four-bets 800,000, no takers.

Young Hun Kim opens then heads to the flop 7♣ 8♥ 9♠ with caller Cliton Taliwanth on the big blind. Both check and see the turn 4♥ , Kim bets 110,000 that's called. The river J♦ , Kim makes it 225,000, Taliwanth calls then mucks to K♥ T♥ straight.

Short stacked Andrei Budykin went head to head against the table leader Jinlong Hu and exited with King-Seven shove on the river was behind Hu's Ace-Jack top pair on a board 2-Q-A-7-6.

Three way action on a turn board 6♥ 3♥ 6♣ T♠ with 140,000 in the pot. Big blind Erwan Regnault bets 50,000, Mingcheng Zhang folds, Zheko Dinev calls and the river drops 2♦ . Both players check. Regnault flips over T♦ 4♦ and claims the pot.

Preflop battle leads to Zheko Dinev all in with A♠ K♠ that's called by Vishal Ojha with Q♣ 9♣ . Ojha pairs at the flop 5♣ 9♥ 2♦ , Dinev overtakes on the turn A♣ , and with the river 3♥ , Dinev doubles through.

Short stacked Stanislav Kovalenko is all in for around 30,000 and is called by Haile Kuo and Vishal Ojha. Both caller check the flop 6♥ 5♥ 3♠ . Kuo bets 50,000 on the turn 9♦ , Ojha calls. The river A♥ sees Kuo fire 170,000, this time Ojha opts to fold and Kuo takes the side pot.

Utg Quan Qiu is all in for less than the big blind, the blinds call and head to the flop 7♣ 2♣ 4♦ . Small blind Sean Ooi check-calls big blind Kyoungseok Chai's 20,000 bet. Both check the turn 9♣ then Ooi leads out 55,000 on the river A♥. Chai folds for Ooi to win the side pot. Ooi shows 2♥ 3♥ bottom pair, Quan turns over 5♥ 7♠ and gets up to leave and is called back for his triple up.

Stefan Nagl with J♦ J♣ calls a player's shove who has K♦ Q♠ . The board further ensures the win for Nagl with a Jack on the flop.

Following a raise, Trung Quang Nguyen three-bets 60,000, Dhanesh Chainani four-bets all in, no takers. Nguyen shows A♥ Q♦ . Someone asked Chainani if he had queens again but Chainani doesn't show.

Big pot built of 265,000 by the river 4♦ 6♣ 7♦ Q♠ K♣ , Ngoc Linh Cao bets 60,000 only to tank to Jinlong Hu's shove. Cao tanks then opts to folds while showing a Q♠ . Jinlong returns the gesture and shows 4♣ .

James Brooks open and finds one customer in Dmytro Lytvynov on the small blind. No flop action with both checking 2♣ J♠ A♦ . The turn 9♣ sees Lytvynov bet 23,000 that's called. On the river 9♣ , Lytvynov is back to checking, Brooks bets 60,000 and claims the pot.

With over 90,000 in the pot and a board 4♦ 7♣ 5♣ 3♣ K♠ , Vishal Ojha shoves his huge stack over half a mil sending Lei Zhang to the tank. Zhang folds.

Nguyen Quang Huy is on the move having picked up two pots back to back. First hand is double up off Sean Ooi with 6♥ 6♣ standing up against K♥ J♥ on a board 9♦ T♥ 5♣ 4♥ 7♦ .

Next hand, Nguyen opens 16,000 and button Kyle Bao Diep calls. Nguyen continues 15,000 on a flop K♠ J♣ 8♠ , Diep calls to bring the turn 4♠ . Nguyen checks, Diep bets 17,000, Nguyen raises 45,000, Diep gives up his hand.

The WPT Cambodia Championship Warm Up resumes today, July 14, 2024 at NagaWorld Phnom Penh with 76 players returning for the final day. Over the course of three flights, the event attracted a combined total of 398 entries and with buy in at $550 each, it nearly doubled its guarantee, settling at $193,030.

Today will see the money flow starting at 50 players remaining. The minimum payout is $892 while way up top is $38,743 plus a $1,100 Prime Championship ticket. Cards in the air at 11:30am.
