Though it was a big loss to Thai Ha, he is still way above average stack. He sits with 280k.

Again, Zhou Zhongsai and Norbert Koh went head-to-head. With 60k already brewed and a board showing 4♦ 3♦ 4♣ 8♥ , Koh bet 10k, Zhou raised to 35k, Koh called. The river Q♦ , Koh jammed it, Zhou tanked then gave up his stake on the pot. Koh up to 550k, Zhou down to 120k.

With a big pot already weighing down the middle, roughly 130k, James Mendoza and a player faced a board K♠ T♥ A♥ J♣ 5♣ . Mendoza checked, player bet 95k, Mendoza tanked then found the guts to call. Player showed T♦ 8♠ pair, Mendoza had better A♣ J♥ two pair. Mendoza rose to 295k.

Utg La Quang Nguyen limped in then called late position player La Anh Tuan’s 11k raise. At the flop T♦ T♥ 3♦ , Quang checked, Tuan c-bet 17k, called by Quang. On the turn 4♠ , Quang changed up and led for 24k, Tuan called. The river 7♦ saw Quang send out 51k, Tuan tanked for a bit then called. Quang showed K♠ T♠ trips and won the pot. Tuan mucked.

Catching the action on a full board 6♠ T♦ 9♥ 5♦ 4♣ and 50k in the middle, Norbert Koh bet 25.5k, Zhou Zhongsai called. Koh showed Q♦ 9♦ flush, Zhou mucked. Zhou down to 150k, Koh up to 500k.

Lojack Norbert Koh opened to 8k, hijack Tan Wah Meng called, joined as well by the small blind. AT the flop K♥ A♥ 3♣ , sb checked, Koh checked, Meng bet 10k, called only by Koh. The turn T♥ drew no bets and the river came 6♦ . Koh checked again, Meng banged out 25k, and Koh tank-called. Meng opened Q♥ T♣ , Koh held A♦ 8♣ to take the pot. Koh up to 380k, Meng down to 140k.

The day’s entering chip leader Thai Ha has just picked up a huge pot to bring him up to 450k. The hand was against Nam Phuong who raised to 8k preflop, called by Thai Ha. At the flop 8♥ 7♦ 3♣ , Phuong c-bet 9k, called again by the leader. On the turn 3♠ no bets arrived and the river felted 7♠ . Phuong checked, Thai Ha bet 28k, Phoung tanked then called. Thai Ha showed 7♣ 6♦ trips to best Phuong’s K♣ K♦ .

Action began with Su Fang laying out a 7k raise, Tran Thanh Dat called, a few spots over, Quang Nguyen three-bet to 35k, Fang folded, and Tran tossed in the rest of his chips which was less than the re-raise.
