Bien Mai

Following a twelve hour grind, Won Poker Cup III Main Event Day 1C has finally drawn to a close with 19 players out of its 155-entry field advancing onto the next stage. Vietnamese superstar Bien Mai was the man to beat in today's games, having amassed a massive 746,000 chip count to top the list. All Day 1 survivors are geared to return to the felt tomorrow, May 20th, each guaranteed a share of the $600,000 prize pool. A total of 52 players are expected to reconvene, with Day 1D still yet to complete its course.

A bustling day lies ahead with today seeing the final two flights for the $600,000 guaranteed Won Poker Cup III Main Event, wrapping up this season's qualifying rounds.

Day 1C kicks off at noon, following the same structure as the earlier flights with 30-minute blind levels throughout. Meanwhile, the evening flight, Day 1D, offers a turbo-charged experience, featuring 20-minute levels for those looking to bag quickly .As with the previous heats, play will continue down until 12.5% of the field remains, locking up both a Day 2 seat and a spot in the money.

Khayal Abbasov currently sets the bar with a 566,000 chip stack from Day 1B — a remarkable climb from the 30,000 starting stack and the number to beat as the final flights unfold.

A 45-minute dinner break will follow Level 10, with registration extended until 6:15 PM, right before Level 11 begins.
