The USOP Vietnam Ha Long Bay 2026 just concluded Flight Day 1D of the Madness Kickoff at the InterContinental Ha Long Bay Convention Center with a total of 327 entries taking to the felt for an affordable VND 11 million (~USD 420) to compete for a share of the VND 10 billion (~USD 380,000) guaranteed prize pool.
When the bubble burst in the early morning, there were 41 players who were assured a minimum cash and a seat on the Day 2 final. Of course, the survivors were also given the opportunity to earn more the deeper they run, with the goal to lift the trophy and claim the championship.
Sitting on the chip leader throne of Day 1D was Vietnam's Minh Tuan Nguyen, who will be bringing 721,000 chips to Day 2. The entire podium was Vietnamese with Quang Thai Nguyen bagging the second largest stack at 559,000 and Van Sang Nguyen taking third with 468,000.
