Mung check-called a bet of 10,000 from Kamal on the J♠ A♦ 9♠ flop and then both checked the 3♣ turn. On the K♠ river, Mung check-folded when Kamal bet 20,000.

When the players were given the go-ahead, Mung showed two pair with A♠ K♥, and Kamal confidently rolled over K♦ 3♥.

The dealer pushed the pot in Mung's direction, rightfully so, but Kamal protested and said that he had two pair. Everybody else at the table explained to Kamal that Mung had a bigger two pair, which he finally accepted after some time.

"Sorry, I'm sleepy," said Kamal.

"You sleepy boy!" replied one of the table.

Zhiyu Wang opened the hijack and then called the shove of Joe Hagen-Burt, who moved all in from the cutoff for 136,000.

Hagen-Burt needed to win a flip to stay alive, and got a dreamy flop of 8♣ 2♥ J♦ , which gave him top set. No miracle runout occurred on the 7♣ 3♠ turn and river, which meant Hagen-Burt survived.

Yansong Wu opened from the hijack to 18,000 and Nikolaos Kiourntzidis shoved from the small blind for 95,000. After thinking for some time, Wu called.

Kiourntzidis had the goods, but the entire room was rooting against him. However, his big slick held up on the 8♣ T♥ 6♣ 7♠ 7♥ runout, earning him a late double.

Quoc Ding Dang opened from early position to 13,000 and Jaehong Jung called in the hijack. Thi Hoa Mac then three-bet to 30,000 in the cutoff, which both Dang & Jung called.

All three tapped the table on the 8♣ 6♥ 5♦ flop to the 2♦ turn, where when it got to Mac, she bet 30,000. Dang and Jung both called.

Dang quickly checked on the 8♥ river, and Jung took just a few seconds to slide out a bet of around 120,000. Mac and Dang's cards hit the muck pretty quickly, which left Jung to rake in the pot.

Chuan Feng had his stack of 21,000 in the middle from early position, and he was put at risk by big-stacked Chak Hei Chan from the big blind.

Chan felt as if he was priced in, and did find some more outs on the 2♣ 7♠ K♣ flop as he paired his seven. That pair turned into trips on the 7♥ turn, giving Chan the jackpot and leaving Feng with just two outs.

No nines appeared on the T♣ river, and Feng was out with just seven players to go until the day ends.

Jie Zheng is moving through Day 1d nicely, and grew his stack to over 300,000 after taking down the last pot he played.

Trung Ha Nguyen opened to 8,000 from under the gun and Zheng three-bet to 25,000 in middle position. When it got back to Nguyen, he called.

On the flop of 5♠ 2♠ 8♣ , Nguyen check-called a bet of 17,000 from Zheng to see the T♦ fall on the turn. Another check came in from Nguyen, then he folded after Zheng bet 33,000.

An absolutely massive pot just played out between Jules Rohr and Thi Hoa Mac, which resulted in one elimination and one stack of half a million!

There were already around 80,000 in the pot on a flop of 8♦ 3♦ K♠ when Mac checked from the small blind and Rohr bet 17,500 from the cutoff. Mac then stuck in a raise to 40,000, then Rohr shoved around 180,000. Mac let out a kind of sigh, but then stuck in the call with the covering stack.

A brutal flop for Rohr, but he did still have outs as any king would earn him the pot, but it wasn't to be as the 8♥ 7♦ runout meant he headed to the exit.

Mac, on the other hand, now has a stack of around 500,000!

An open came in from Tran Hoai Anh in early position and Dhaval Doshi called on the button. Nguyen Trung Nghia also called in the big blind.

The trio saw a flop of 9♦ 4♥ 6♥ and after Nghia checked, Anh fired 9,000. Doshi stuck in the call, then Nghia raised to 24,000. Anh wasted no time in shoving, covering both of his opponents, and Doshi quickly called for his stack of 31,500. Nghia had a little bit less, and also called.

Doshi had slow-played his bullets and was in prime position to almost triple up. A J♣ on the turn didn't help anybody, and the T♥ river was also a brick, which meant Doshi scooped the pot as Nghia hit the rail.

With a total of 318 entries recorded in Day 1d, the Grand Loyal Poker Championship Kick Off Event has now attracted a cumulative 1,089 entries across the first four starting flights.

That figure means the VND 7.2 billion guarantee has already been surpassed, with the prize pool now climbing past VND 7.5 billion and still growing as Day 1e prepares to take the stage. The final flight is expected to draw another strong turnout as players take their last shot at securing a seat for Day 2 and a slice of the massive prize pool.
