Famous Chinese YouTuber Yuan Xu lifted his first ever USOP trophy after eliminating the last two players in his path - Ahmed Karrim 2nd and Do Quang Trinh 3rd. Xu earned the first place prize money of VN₫ 830,000,000 (~US$ 33,730) and a trophy to forever remember the moment.

Before the final hand, Xu eliminated Trinh with K♥ Q♦ dominating K♣ J♣ . Several hands later, Xu cleaned out Karrim with K♥ K♣ over K♦ J♣.

The second flight of the Madness Kick Off Event bagged up with Khayal Abbasov securing the top spot with 659,000 in chips, equivalent to 66 bb. The event drew 204 entries with 26 players advancing to Day 2.

Madness Kick Off Event – Survivor Chip Counts

After eight hand-for-hand hands, the Madness Kick Off Event Day 1B ended with Jia Chi Li eliminating Xiaoxiao Chen on the bubble. Chen was all in for his last 3 bb holding 5♥ 5♣ that did not get past Li's Q♥ Q♣ . In a dramatic finish, both players improved to a set on a board Q♠ T♣ 4♠ 5♠ A♦ .

The two shortest stacks, Ahmed Karrim and Do Quang Thanh banged heads resulting in Thanh getting the boot in 4th place on a flip. It was all in preflop with Thanh's A♣ K♦ unable to improve against Karrim's J♠ J♦ .

Cooler at the Madness Kick Off Event Day 1B with Khayal Abbasov min-raising to 12,000, Nguyen Van Hien three-bets 26,000, Abbasov four-bets 65,000, Nguyen five-bets all in for 129,000, Abbasov snap-calls and covers Nguyen.

China's Xinxing Tang secured his first ever USOP title at the 7-Handed Hyper Turbo event. Tang outlasted the 25 entry field (24 unique) to claim the VN₫ 42,300,000 (~US$ 1,720) top prize and a trophy to go with it.

Anzhela Vasylenko continues to hold one of the top spots at Day 1B of the Madness Kick Off Event after booting Nguyen Hoang Duy with A♠ A♦ crushing A♣ 5♣ .

The Madness Kick Off Event Day 1B concluded another break with 48 players remaining out of the 204 entry field. The flight bags up once ITM is reached of 12.5% of the field which is at 26 remaining. Here are the top 10 in chips. Average stack is 6,120,000.

UK's Craig Cooper locked up his career second USOP trophy following his victory at the Double Board event. Cooper outlasted the 12-entry field for a payout of VN₫ 29,300,000 (~US$ 1,190). Cooper's first USOP win was in last-March at the USOP Danang 6-Card PLO.

Falling simultaneously at a separate table was Leo Du Boisbaudry in 9th place with 6♣ 6♠ dominated by chip leader Ahmed Karrim's 8♦ 8♥ . Du Boisbaudry earned VN₫ 83,000,000 (~US$ 3,373).

Madness Kick Off Event – Survivor Chip Counts

Germany's Konstantin Held is back at USOP and has been battling it out at the High Roller Warm Up Single Day. First seen at the USOP back in November where he placed 9th at the Main Event, Held has since picked up a couple of big wins.

In January, Held took down the inaugural WPT Cambodia Championship for his first major win then last week Held won the WSOP Online Mini Main Event and pocketed a career high US$ 574,199. He is definitely one to keep a close watch on!

With blinds at 2000-4000 ante 4000, Ni raised from utg, Pham Duc Hieu three-bet, small blind Naoki Tomiyama called, then Ni four-bet, both players called. At the flop 8♦ 7♣ 6♠ , Pham shoved 44,000, Tomiyama and Ni called. Ni then bet 75,000 on the turn T♦ to lose Tomiyama.

Ni opened A♦ 9♦ straight, Pham with J♥ J♦ overpair, the river 7♦ finished off Pham. Tomiyama showed the big K♥ K♦ fold.

The Madness Kick Off Event continues to see attendance climb with 65 entries at the start of Level 4. Currently sitting on a massive pile is Anton Johnson with 120,000, that's 4x the starting stack. Also with a healthy stack is USOP newcomer Khayal Abbasov who knocked out a player to bring him over double to 65,000.

The first of ten high roller events has now joined the action on the floor. At 12pm, cards went flying at the High Roller Warm Up Single Day featuring a VND 1,200,000,000 (~US$ 48,800) guarantee. Buy in is VND 44,000,000 (~US$ 1,760).

Only one full table so far with Robert Kiss, Tommy Kempter, Erik Rozhynskyi, Xiaosheng Zheng, and high roller star Hoang Hai Nam among them. More players are expected with registration closing at the start of Level 11 at 5:30pm.
