The Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT) 19 Main Event continued its record-breaking momentum at the Red Space venue with the completion of Day 1C. The flight saw a surge in entries as players fought for their share of the ambitious TWD 30,000,000 (~USD 1,000,000) guaranteed prize pool. With the blinds climbing and the field narrowing, the action intensified throughout the later levels, leaving a fresh group of survivors ready to join the Day 2 field.

Leading the charge at the end of Day 1C was Taiwan's Bo Yi Xiao, who bagged a massive stack of 936,000 chips. Xiao established himself as a dominant force at the tables, skillfully navigating the deep-stacked structure to claim the top spot for the flight.

Xiao is followed closely by South Korea’s Kiyoung Kim, who remains a dangerous threat heading into the next stage with a healthy stack of 902,000 chips. Rounding out the top three is his countryman, Younghoon Ban, with 864,000 in chips.

The trio from Day 1C surpassed the Day 1A chip leader, Tzu Ching Wang (859,000). With the series moving forward, all eyes are on the remaining starting flights to see if any challengers can overtake these new benchmarks.

The TMT 19 Main Event is rapidly living up to its reputation as a premier stop on the Asian circuit, with five more Day 1 flights scheduled through February 7 to finalize the championship field.

The Long Run Resumes with the TWD 9,000 Main Event Day 1C Kicking Off

Switching the schedule back to the TWD 9,000 Main Event today at the Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT) 19 as Day 1C gets underway in the grandest venue, Red Space. Being the most anticipated prime event, it offers a whopping TWD 30,000,000 (~USD 1,000,000) guarantee for poker pros and aficionados to battle for.

After the tense competition in Day 1A & B, the prestigious event has drawn an impressive 1,370 entries, with just 110 survivors punching their ticket to Day 2. Leading the pack is Taiwan's Tzu Ching Wang with a towering stack of 859,000.

Wang is the only player to surpass the 800,000-chip mark so far after Day 1 play, sitting firmly atop the leaderboard as he awaits challengers to contest his chip lead.
