TMT 17 NLH Master Day 1B concluded with Michael Kim Falcon taking the chip lead heading into Day 2 alongside 44 survivors. With a total of 290 entries, the flight ran through 14 intense levels before the bubble burst. NLH Master Day 2 takes place Wednesday, 15 January at 11:00.

The chip leader Michael Falcon accumulated a massive stack of 784,000 [130 BB] in NLH Master Day 1B. The Danish player who had a stack 48,500 at the beginning of Level 8 managed to stay in the race with some masterful and eliminating several players along the way. Among his knockouts were Bart Wolterink, Jonald Garcia, and Ztu Chun Lin.

Coming in second in chips was Taiwan’s Kai Hung Hu with 496,000 [82BB]. In third rank was is Ci Hong Ho of Taiwan with 404,000 [67BB] . Other notable players also moving on were Sukhum Kiwanont of Thailand and Anton Widjaya of Indonesia.

TMT 17 NLH Master built a total prize pool of TWD 6,822,500 (USD 206,767). 79 combined players from Day 1A (35 survivors) and Day 1B (44 survivors) will be competing for the grand prize of TWD 1,048,500 (USD 31,776) at Day 2.

Hong Yu Huang (BTN) raises 18,000 pre-flop and Che Chun Chu (BB) three-bets all-in with 83,000. Yu Huang calls and the players show their hole cards. Yu Huang held A♥ K♥ while Chun Chu held A♠ T♥ . The board ran 5♠ T♠ J♣ A♣ J♥ . Despite spiking two pairs on the turn the river counterfeits Chun Chu's two pairs and got eliminated.

Cheng Yung Yu (UTG) raises all-in 21,000 pre-flop while Zhi Yu Wang (SB) and Huang Hong Yu (BB) call to see the flop 7♥ 5♥ 3♣ . Yu Wang and Hong Yu check for the turn card K♥ . The players check again to see the river 6♥ . Another round of checks lead to a three-way show down. Yung Yu had 9♦ 8♦ Yu Wang had A♣ J♦ while Hong Yu's wins the three-way showdown with his flush.

Wang Zhi Yu (CO) raises 12,000 and Huang Hong Yu (BTN) three bets 28,000. Zhi Yu calls and the turn puts 4♥ 9♣ 3♦ on the board. Both players check to see the turn Q♦ . With another round of checks the river brings 7♥ . Zhi Yu checks giving Hong Yu the opportunity to bet 30,000. Zhi Yu folds and Hong Yu takes the pot.

Hong Yu Huang (CO) raises 10,000 pre-flop and Ka Hou Ho (BB) calls to see the flop 2♠ 8♥ J♥ . Hou Ho checks and Yu Huang turns up the heat with a 12,000 bet which Hou Ho calls. The turn brings Q♥ and once again Hou Ho checks while Yu Huang bets 17,500 this time causing Hou Ho to fold.

Hong Yu Huang risked his entire 56,400 with T♥ T♣ and ran smack into Tzu Ming Liu's nutted A♦ A♥.

No hope for Hong arrived on board Q♠ 9♥ 5♥ A♣ Q♥ , knocking him out off the qualifier in quick fashion.
