Singapore’s Guanghui Toh ended the night with 312,000, good for fifth place overall in the counts. Joshua Gebissa also advanced comfortably with 206,000, while Wei Le sat at the very bottom of the leaderboard with just one big blind. Xiangnan Meng Next to the DealerHeads-up to a flop of 5♦ 3♦ J♥ and with around 65,000 already in the pot. Xiangnan Meng checked from middle position, and Yikang Xu bet 30,000 from the hijack. Meng check-raised to 75,000, and Xu stuck around with a call.
An A♥ arrived on the turn and after doing some inventory of his stack, Meng jammed for 125,000. Xu quickly called, and once the floor came over to announce the action, the cards were shown.
Xiangnan Meng: Q♥ T♥
Yikang Xu: K♣ J♣
Meng was making a move on the flop and had picked up a Royal Flush draw on the turn, but he was behind against the second pair of Xu.
A lot of cards in the deck would save Meng; however, the 7♠ to complete the board wasn't one of them, and Meng was the bubble boy for Day 1c of the Circuits Main Event.

Yuezeng Li: A♥ J♠
Yikang Xu: T♦ 3♦
Li had found a premium at the perfect time as he was one of the shortest stacks in the tournament.
However, the runout fell unfavorably for Li as it came 3♠ 7♠ 7♦ K♦ 9♠ to give Xu the winner with a pair of treys.
Li headed to the rail and Day 1c was now on the stone bubble.

Yuqin Wang: A♥ K♣
Aleksei Sei: J♣ J♥
It was a classic flip that Wang needed to win to keep his hopes of making Day 2 alive.
Sei's jacks stayed ahead through the Q♣ 3♠ 6♥ flop, but the K♦ turn gave Wang a pair of kings.
The T♦ completed the board, and Wang doubled.

Kai Cui got his stack of around 50,000 into the middle preflop from the hijack and Dongxu Li was the player trying to bust him from the small blind.
Kai Cui: A♣ Q♦
Dongxu Li: A♦ K♦
Cui was in bad shape against the bigger ace, and despite hitting top pair on the 4♠ A♥ 5♥ 6♣ T♠ runout, Li's kicker player, and Cui headed to the rail.
A♠ Cui exited the tournament area, the floor staff announced that, due to stalling, the tournament would now enter the hand-for-hand stage, with two more eliminations needed before play stopped for the day.
With a few more eliminations being recorded, the field has been trimmed to 30 players.
The floor have warned the remaining players that if they continue to stall, hand-for-hand play will be implemented earlier to speed up the pace of play.

Shen immediately jammed for around 35,000, and Ye instantly called. The cards were turned over, with Ye having the chance to score a double knockout.
Anli Zhou: 4♠ 4♦
Yinchao Shen: K♥ T♥
Zhi Ye: A♣ T♣
Zhou flopped a set and was in a great spot to triple up. Shen needed a heart to scoop the entire pot, and a king to ensure at least his survival.
The rest of the board came 3♠ 3♦ and Zhou tripled with a boat, while Ye's ace-high won the side pot, sending Shen to the showers.
